Another incredible weekend @braziersinternationalfilmfest ! Thanks to everyone who attended, all the filmmakers who shared their work with us and to the @brazierspark Community for looking after us so well. by @juliamakojnik

Heading back to Braziers Park this Bank Holiday weekend for Braziers International Film Festival. I’ve pulled together a programme of great films while thinking about different forms of collecting and accumulating, why we do it and who/what it’s for.

🎟️ in @braziersinternationalfilmfest bio for anyone looking for some last minute plans this weekend!

Colour pencil on watercolour paper.

A small, slow drawing I've been chipping away at whenever I need a break (which is often) from a big, long project about Anglesey that I'm still at the beginning of and slowly untangling. It's been nice to have something this immediate to turn to when I get tired or too in my head.

@rogueartists_studios Open Studios are coming up on Saturday 19th September. I'll be opening my studio and will be there on the day, if you'd like to see what I've been thinking about.

It’s almost Solstice weekend! 🌞

In celebration, I’ve made some Solstice themed risograph prints for a weekend camp with my friends and I have some spares.

14 sets of 4 prints chosen at random from 11 different designs in 1 of 3 colours are free to good homes (just pay postage). All prints are ~A6 in size and come in a handmade, riso printed envelope. On the back of each print are game instructions adapted from an exercise from the Meisner acting method, which you can try with a friend, lover or stranger.

If you would like a set, DM me a postal address and I’ll send you my Paypal details.
P&P is £1 for 2nd class or £2 if you prefer 1st class. For all payments received by Thursday evening, I will post the prints out on Friday morning.

Thanks to my pal @erinjacksonraynes for help with finding some of these images, including the one of Alfred Watkins being one with a big rock 🪨 by @juliamakojnik
