NYC always a good time and ran into an old friend after 7 years! Too long! Shout out to Jazmin Harvey who lensed @badjuju.series - vertical before vertical was verticaling. #choppedcheese by @julianmakesfilms
I feel awfully privileged despite living in London to somehow make it to NYC and catch @williamallentheactor on stage. He made the move from Cruces back in 2018. Since 2021 I think I caught 4 out of 5 shows! 🎉🫡 Congratulations my bro! by @julianmakesfilms
It’s a great privilege to have great friends doing great things! Happened to be in NYC and @will.acts.nyc and I made sure to stop by the @hypebeast pop up in SoHo where they featured the legend @hattiecrowther !! I already have some Hattie originals and you know I had to cop another. I couldn’t bring myself to purchase that USA jersey. 1. It’s a Donavan jersey, but that’s also Pulisic’s # and he ain’t do nothing this WC smh. If they subbed us in, we would been just as effective smh. Maybe if it was a women’s jersey. Ay, Hattie tell Hypebeast to feature a Trinity Rodman jersey STAT. 2. USA just moving real reckless and wack. Our president is wack. We dropping bombs and that’s wack. ICE is wack. And institutionally everything is going way backwards. I’ve been binging @theresthistory podcast, recently listened to an episode about former Alabama governor George Wallace and another on the birth of the KKK. A lot of ideologies of a not so distant past popping up in politics today from one particular party… Copped the Brazil design tho! Fun Fact: they have the largest black population outside of Africa. Not So Fun Fact: Why they have the largest population outside of Africa. “Why is everything about race, Julian?” SLAP! Cause in America… everything is. It’s not my fault. Blame the Portuguese. 🤷🏿‍♂️ You already know I had to pull up in my @skate_pal jersey! Check them out! They’re doing incredible things to support Palestine through building a skateboarding community! It’s really amazing. Congratulations @hattiecrowther 🔥🔥🔥 by @julianmakesfilms

Art wouldn’t exist without design. You can’t mention design without fashion. Fashion exists as an intersection that flows across the arts and music, bringing everything to life. And… Moving image has the power to narrate and tell stories that can make you feel, reflect even discover what it means to be human in all its complexities. THIS is what we pioneer at ADAWN. THIS is Whiteface by @julianmakesfilms A short film. Film screening and Q&A at ADAWN on 6th June. Entry is free but spaces are limited. RSVP via the link in bio. Come and watch, discuss and shop. Don’t miss it! by @julianmakesfilms
