“I’m with The Plug.” 😂😂😂 @julielallypr said it so casually and I completely LOST it. I was not ready. 😂 We’ve followed and supported each other on social media for years, building a genuine relationship without ever really spending time together in person. Until @foodieseatfirstfest 2.2. 🤎 Social media may make the introduction, but genuine connection is what makes it meaningful. So good finally connecting in real life, Julie. And apparently… she already knows who she’s with. 😂🔌 The Plug & The Outlet. by @julielallypr

@tenacious_eats isn’t just a movie night. It’s one of the most creative dinners in St. Louis. I went to their screening of The NeverEnding Story and left wondering how Chef Liz keeps pulling this off. Every course doesn’t just reference the movie—it drops you right into it. It’s dinner and storytelling happening at the same time, and it’s unlike anything else I’ve experienced in the city. Next up: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on July 17 at @twoplumbers . The menu is gloriously nerdy: 🍕 Michelangelo’s over-the-top pizza order. 🥟 Pork gyoza with green yuzu “oooze.” 🍜 Japanese curry chicken and udon. 🍣 A California roll made with real crab. 🧀 A blue cheese pizza roll inspired by “Do you like penicillin on your pizza?” 🐢 Matcha cheesecake with chocolate turtle ganache. And because this is at Two Plumbers, you also get free arcade games before the movie and a lineup of TMNT-inspired beer pairings, including Ninja Pizza Pils and Zagay!, an ube cream ale that sounds as fun as it tastes. If you’ve never been to a Tenacious Eats dinner, this is the one I’d start with. Grab your fellow ‘90s kids, hop in the Turtle Van, and prepare to leave with a full belly and a bigger appreciation for what Chef Liz is creating. It’s food, film, nostalgia, and just the right amount of cowabunga. by @julielallypr
