POSTS STORIES REELS

Uh oh. I got a new travel toy. My posts are gonna be a little more ridiculous from now on.

But enjoy me playing around with it at the Kintai after a rare snowfall.

January 2020, right before the pandemic, I got to live out my Lord of the Rings dreams. Hiking up to the top of Edoras, holding King Theoden's sword and the banner of Rohan is the highlight of my life.

3 hours until 2026. Looking back on the best sunset of my life.

Dangling off The Great Wall of China after spending the day climbing the crumbling path and watchtowers really gave me a sense of awe I have never felt before. Being greeted at the end of the day to the most incredible sunset I've ever seen then spending the evening chatting with adventurous girlfriends while looking at the stars is an experience that will never be topped.

I feel privileged to have been able to have this opportunity to travel to once-in-a-lifetime places and do once-in-a-lifetime things.

Thank you 2025 for the travels. I will never forget you.

Shiraito Falls was such a beautiful hidden gem on our way to glamp at Mount fuji. Seeing it with the Autumn colors was amazing. Almost time for it to look like this again!

Tottori sand dunes and sand museum. This is one of the best museums in Japan. They change the theme every year and it's so impressive to see the sand sculptures from artists around the world.

Back to Volcano-posting

We were so excited to actually catch Sakurajima erupting.

Each stop had hard hats in bins in case the rocks started coming down

The eruption started on the road and the bus driver stopped and waved for us to get out and take pictures. He was so cool!

All the people on the bus were in the front taking photos

We ended up catching around 4 separate erruptions

Time lapse from the black sand beach

Overheated Japanese Bagder

Lava buried Torii gate

Took this photo in the morning thinking it was so cool it was smoking.

Stopped for lunch at a ramen place that I think was in this lady's living room.
