SIRENE 🪼

I et stort akvarium vrider noget sig og gisper lyde, der synes født længe før menneskesprog. I årtusinder har vi fortalt historier om havets mytiske kvinder – sirener og havfruer med glinsende hud og lokkende stemmer. De er blevet gjort til fantasier, advarsler og begær.

Sirene er en sonisk performance, der genfortolker myten om havkvinden fra hendes perspektiv. Lillebælt og store dele af Østersøen er døde. Midt i et havklimakollaps blander krop og koreografi det våde og yndefulde med det akavede og brutale, mens livegenereret lyd og feltoptagelser fra Østersøen skaber harmonier, der både lyder som sirenernes sang og som ører, der sprænges på havets bund.

It’s clear that we all need to shake our bodies and fool around together, so we’re bringing our workshops back!

Whether you’ve never set foot on a dance floor, only dance in the kitchen when nobody can see you, or the numbers 5678 stir up your inner child for better or for worse, you’re invited to join us for our upcoming workshop at GOOCH Theatre in 90mil.

This time we’re focusing on loosening up. We’ll guide you through physical exercises to literally loosen up your body, plus group exercises in improvisation and instant composition to loosen up your mind and ego and give your creative muscle a deep tissue massage.

Loosen up and join the loser’s club. At this point: losing is winning 🏆

Sliding scale 10-30€ (does not include the one-time membership fee of 5€ for 90mil; if you already have a membership, you don’t need to pay again).
