POSTS STORIES REELS

In Kenya, resilience is a way of life. Communities rise together. Families support one another. Through adversity we walk together.

To honor that spirit, on April 27th a team of runners will take on a 200-mile ultramarathon from Nairobi to Eldoret—a route shaped by stories of endurance, generosity, and hope. Introducing, EVERY MILE MATTERS.

This isn’t a race, it’s a tribute to the strength of Kenyan communities and a movement to ensure that strength is met with opportunity. Every mile represents families who have traveled long distances seeking care. Every step brings us closer to a future where children can receive that care close to home.

Equally, there is an invitation for all of us to grow deeper in the wonder and ways of love!

"Brave Love" is available TODAY in both physical and digital formats. You can find it on Amazon as well as other book retailers. My deepest thanks for all of your love and support!

It's finally here. After months of waiting, our long-awaited shipment of medical equipment has arrived in Kenya — and it's all thanks to the generous hearts of our partners and donors who made this possible. Now, we can't wait to bring these spaces to life. 🌍❤️

Healing isn't just medical — it's musical. 🎶 Watch Kibet lead these amazing kids in song and dance as part of their holistic care journey. This is what hope looks and sounds like. 🙏

At Living Room, hospitality is more than a welcome—it's healing. We honor every patient with dignity, care, and compassion, transforming lives one story at a time. #compassionatecare #hopeliveshere #livingroominternational by @julimcgowanboit

Whether in Kenya or right here at home, the invitation remains the same: to come and see, to love God, to love our neighbors, and to love ourselves. Let’s make room—for life, for love, and for God. #compassionatecare #faithinaction #livingroominternational by @julimcgowanboit

We’re not responsible for what we don’t know—but when God gives us a glimpse, we’re invited to care, to wrestle, to pray. Not as saviors, but as witnesses and allies, trusting that Jesus, the true Savior, sees, knows, and cares for the whole world. #compassionatecare #faithinaction #livingroominternational by @julimcgowanboit

Yesterday we dedicated the new Comprehensive Care Center at Living Room Hospital in Eldoret — a milestone made possible by faith, perseverance, and the generosity of so many.

What began as a vision is now a place where children and families will receive compassionate, dignifying care close to home.

Standing together in that space — praying, singing, celebrating — felt like a glimpse of hope made real. This center will open its doors soon, and with it, a new chapter of healing begins.

Thank you to every friend of Living Room who helped make this possible. The work continues, and we are honored to walk it with you! by @julimcgowanboit

Hope is more than waiting—it's finding glimpses of love and goodness even in the midst of struggles. At Living Room, we hold onto hope, believing in better things to come and asking, "What does love look like here?" Thank you for being part of this journey with us. #HopeLivesHere #LoveInAction #LivingRoomInternational #CompassionateCare by @julimcgowanboit
