POSTS STORIES REELS

As we celebrate My Father’s Shadow here in France and dream up the next stories to tell, my heart is full of gratitude. 🌍✨
None of this—traveling the world, sharing our work, lighting up @festivaldecannes —would be possible without the love and support of my incredible wife and our beautiful kids.

To my rock, my muse, my everything— @chinenyeonah —thank you for holding it all down and lifting me higher. This journey is ours. ❤️🇫🇷🎬

WHICH WAY filled three halls at AFRIFF. Thank you, Lagos. 🙏🏾
The film ends. The conversation shouldn’t.
Ladi is a father, a husband and a son, carrying a childhood he has never spoken about, and passing it on to the people he loves.
So we’re asking you: what would you say to Ladi?
Tell us in the comments 👇🏾 and tag someone who needs to join this conversation.

In @punchnewspapers yesterday,🗞️
“We weren’t casting voices or faces. We were casting people who could carry a scene and a song at the same time, without a safety net.”
The cast of Which Way sang every song live on set, and Punch tells their story.
Africa premiere at @afriff this Tuesday, 3 November, at Filmhouse Landmark.

Toronto, you were good to me. ❤️🇨🇦
My first TIFF, and what a week! New friendships, brilliant conversations, very little sleep, and a film project that somehow grew more in seven days than I’d dared to hope. I came with a suitcase and a pitch deck. I’m leaving with a slightly heavier suitcase and a lot more work to do. 😂
A huge thank you to @britishfilminstitute for making this possible, and to my fellow delegation members for the laughs, generosity and support. You made the whole experience even better.
Now, back to Leeds, my family, and the work ahead.
Toronto, we’ll see each other again. ❤️

Dr. Mum! 🎓❤️

Today we celebrate an incredible milestone as my mum officially graduates with her PhD from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).

It wasn’t an easy journey. There were long days, late nights, countless sacrifices and moments that tested her resolve. But through God’s grace, perseverance and unwavering determination, she made it to the finish line.

We’re so proud of you, Mum. Thank you for showing us that it’s never too late to keep learning, growing and pursuing excellence. Your achievement is an inspiration to our family and to everyone privileged to know you.

Congratulations, Dr. Mum! We love you and celebrate you today.

And on a lighter note… between my Dad and my Mum, they now have a combined three PhDs. 😅 That’s some serious pressure on the rest of us!

To God be all the glory. 🙏🎉 by @jumaforthegreat
