For more than two decades, the Little Moir’s restaurant group (think: @littlemoirsfoodshack and @leftoverscafe) has been part of #Jupiter’s culinary DNA. Now, co-owners Mike Moir and Drew Shimkus have taken their success farther west—literally. Little Moir’s Sweet Fish (@littlemoirssweetfish) is the newest door in the homegrown restaurant family. Its westernmost outpost yet brings the group’s signature approach to seafood a little closer to I-95 and #JupiterFarms.

For all the delicious details, check out the October issue 🍤

We’re pleased to present the #November issue ✨✨

This edition centers around recognizing #goodtimes, good company, and good work. Our team sat down with different people at different tables and consistently found one commonality: #belonging. Whether it’s at a family gathering, championing for a bigger cause, or a place to visit that nourishes your soul, there is a story in this issue for you.

Our cover story, “Not Your Average Joe,” introduces you to Michelin-starred chef Joe Isidori (@joeisidori) serves up #Thanksgiving his way: all Italian tradition, no turkey. Our editor in chief, @kristen_desmond_lefevre has all the tasty and comforting details for you.

Mrs. Universe @kellielightbourn is turning her pageant title into a platform for good. “Crowning Glory” will indeed overflow your cup.

Head to page 46 next for “Green Means Go.” From farmstand finds to fresh-picked flavors, local #farmersmarkets bring plenty to the table and writer @julesaron has the freshest insight.

Allow us to be some of the first to wish you and yours a wonderful season filled with meaningful moments and memories. We’re thankful to you all for your continued support and readership ✨✨

Ask any #interiordesigner what inspires a room, and many will point to a fabric swatch, rug, or artwork. For one of Krista + Home’s (@kristahome) clients, founder Krista Watterworth Alterman (@krista.alterman) says the muse was the client herself. “She’s obsessed with a blush pink-and-black palette and wanted Hollywood Regency for her formal living room with a gothic-glam spin,” she says.

Check out this full #design project write up in the current issue.

Honored to have photographed a cover for @jupitermagazine , with crossover coverage in Stuart Magazine, featuring Mike Moir and Drew Shimkus of Little Moir’s.

Mike opened Food Shack in Jupiter in 2002, and Drew went from a young cook on the team to his business partner. Together, they’ve grown the Little Moir’s family to include Food Shack, Leftovers Café, Maxi’s Lineup, Hibiscus StrEATery Market, and Little Moir’s Catering. Their newest addition, Sweet Fish, brings another seafood spot to Jupiter’s Chasewood Plaza.

Loved getting these two in front of my camera and photographing the food that’s kept locals coming back for more than two decades. Not a bad assignment, especially if you arrive hungry.

Sara Trosty Walsh (@sarawalsh_lcsw_) often recognizes herself in her patients’ journeys. “I know what it’s like to face a chronic illness and the possibility of death,” she says. “It gives me such joy to see that I can really help people through their cancer journey.”

We caught up with Walsh to get her thoughts on ways to help a loved one through a cancer diagnosis and treatment. Read the full Q&A on page 36 🩷
