January is usually about all things new and exciting. January of 2026 has marked my life forever. I cried (a lot), prayed, smiled, worshiped, remembered, and laughed. I never understood grief in the capacity that I do now—it is all the things. I don’t know what else this new year will bring, but God is carrying me, and I can still have hope even in the midst of this heartache.

I will likely never emotionally recover from the last photo and the solemn notes of Taps played for someone that I love. Thank you to the Air Force Honor Guard for her final farewell with honor and respect. Master Sergeant Davis, you leave behind a legacy.

Love you, love you, love you… as you would always say. ❤️

Rooms are empty that used to be so full 🤍

Continuing to bless the Lord. Learning grief, joy and gratitude can exist together.

First Mother’s Day without my mom. My heart still aches but I am also full of gratitude for the time I got to spend with her and her legacy that will go on forever. Love you love you love you 🤍
