POSTS STORIES REELS

In the first week of September, I had the privilege of facilitating Ready For College – Cohort 3, a programme by @hootafrica created to prepare young primary school leavers for the journey into secondary school.

We talked about faith and what it means to walk with God as a young person.
We were preparing them for life.
We talked about purpose.
We talked about values.
We talked about excellence, goal-setting, hygiene, rights and responsibilities.
We talked about abuse and the importance of speaking up.
We had conversations about relationships and sex education.

And I am grateful that God allowed me to be an instrument of change and impact in the lives of these young ones.
Things like these are what I love to do, and I was given this wonderful opportunity.

To @hootafrica thank you for trusting me with the privilege of contributing to the grooming of the next generation.
I may have been the facilitator, but I left that room with lessons of my own.
Perhaps that's the beautiful thing about impact:
You think you're pouring into others, only to realise that you are being poured into too.
It was a wonderful experience and I am grateful for it. by @just_linn19

Thank you, @just_linn19 for your time, energy, creativity and commitment as the facilitator Ready For College – Cohort 3.

From supporting sessions and engaging with the children to helping bring the moving parts of the program together, your contribution helped create an environment where our scholars could learn, ask questions, explore and grow.

Thank you for showing up, pouring in and being part of the work of shaping young minds.

Every successful programme is powered by people who care, and we are grateful for you.

With gratitude,
Ready For College Team.

Up next, second ½ of the year 🥰🥳

Happy New Month Fam 🥰🥳 by @just_linn19

Last year, @chiege_u told me about an amazing initiative dedicated to helping people. Born out of a desire to combat hunger and support vulnerable communities, I had the privilege of attending the @foodefbi Easter Food Drive in Iwollo Oghe, as a volunteer.

Please keep up to the last slide to understand more❤️

This year, the Enugu Food Bank Initiative team is returning to visit the widows and families we met, not just to deliver food packages, but to remind them that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.

One thing I learned from the last outreach is that kindness goes beyond what we give. It is about the connections we build and the hope we leave behind.

As we prepare for another impactful food drive, I invite you to join us in making a difference.
Whether through donations, sharing this message or simply spreading awareness, your support can help put food on a table and a smile on someone's face.

Together, we can make hunger a little less heavy and hope a little more abundant.

Another 365 days have blessedly, gracefully, graciously, and beautifully passed ushering me into a new year.

Reflecting and looking back, all I can say is
“Thank You, Lord. Your daughter is grateful.”

This new chapter is anchored in four realities than words:
Unfolding, Becoming, Purpose, Peace.
With Christ, the foundation.

And with that being said,
Ladies and gentlemen, this is 23!!!!!!

Reflecting on how the year has been had me thinking about the becoming, the stretching, the grace, the lessons, the growth, the quiet wins, and the strength I didn’t know I had.
I see God’s hand in every step, every shift, every lesson, and I’m deeply grateful for it all.
And of course, for the wonderful friends He placed in my life along the way.
This is from a place of gratitude.

Day 15 of my Year Recap

This year stretched me, tested me, shaped me and refined me in ways I didn’t anticipate, I felt the shift and I still feel it - know God is in control of this journey.

I learned how to show up even when I wasn’t certain.
How to grow without applause.
How to serve, lead, learn and keep going when things felt overwhelming.

I’m deeply grateful to God for grace, direction and strength.
Grateful for family who never stopped supporting me.
Grateful for friends who listened, advised, prayed and reminded me who I am when I forgot.

Every lesson, every opportunity, every challenge added a layer to my becoming.
This wasn’t just a year of doing.

It was a year of becoming more intentional, more grounded and more courageous.

Still growing. Still learning. Still becoming.

Day 14 of my Year Recap

Some milestones don’t happen at the end.
They happen quietly in between, marking both the close of one chapter and the beginning of another.

Induction and Convocation.
Two moments that signified a powerful transition.

My induction came in May.
Convocation happened in July.
All while I was learning, volunteering, teaching, growing, doubting, and still showing up every day.

At the time, I didn’t pause long enough to fully take it in.
Today, I choose to acknowledge it.

I am deeply grateful to God for His mercies and for carrying me through every phase.
To my family, thank you for the unending support.
To my friends, I say a heartfelt thank you for always standing with me.

These moments weren’t just ceremonies.
They marked a transition, from student to professional, from learning to responsibility, from preparation to purpose.
This was me being officially welcomed into a new phase of life, where growth became intentional and impact became personal.
Honouring the milestones that shaped the journey, even when they happened quietly.

Day 13 of my Year Recap
This is about the @hootafrica Rural Kids Connect Christmas Party 2025
Theme: Make Dreams Come True.

This day filled my heart in ways words still struggle to capture.
Working with children in rural communities reminded me that potential is everywhere — opportunity is not.

Yet, in that space, I saw curiosity spark, confidence grow and joy overflow.
There were screams of excitement, laughter that echoed, dances that told stories, and little moments that stayed with me long after the day ended.

The joy of children and the joy of working with them is something that cannot be explained or overemphasized.

This wasn’t just a party.
It wasn’t just food, gifts, or dancing.
It was presence.
It was hope.
It was reminding children that they are seen, heard, valued, and capable.
That day, happiness was loud… and my heart was full.

Thank you @hootafrica for the opportunity to be a part of the children's Christmas and thank you for putting smiles on their faces.

Small spaces. Big impact.

@oges_sipnchew said, “Always stay hydrated and smell good.”
@goziemba_favour said, “My girls, stay clean.”

Thank you so much... .

I unboxed the best Christmas presentss.
I wasn't dramatic enough... But trust me, I had much more drama in my head.

PS: I couldn’t post this yesterday due to network issues.

Day 12 of my Year Recap

This day pushed me out of the classroom and onto the stage.

I served as the MC for an Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Awareness program by @hootafrica in a secondary school, guiding conversations, engaging students, and helping translate an important public health issue into language young people could understand.

Of course, it wasn't easy.
Standing there, I realized how powerful communication is when it meets purpose.
It wasn’t just about holding a microphone.
It was about responsibility, clarity, confidence, and impact.

AMR conversations matter, especially with young people because awareness today shapes healthier decisions tomorrow.

This experience reminded me that advocacy can take many forms: teaching, speaking, moderating, and creating spaces for learning.

Thank you @fanta_x_x for being a wonderful coach and for always telling me I should believe in myself.
