Tickets for the 2026 Access:Horror Film Festival are on sale now! We’ve curated a collection of films, panels, and filmmaker Q&A’s that are so inclusive . . . it’s scary.

All films will be available to watch on FilmChief from October 4th - November 1st, and you can purchase your pass at https://www.accesshorror.com/ for just over $1 per film.

For those of you just finding us, Access:Horror is a festival programmed, produced, and hosted by disabled filmmakers to celebrate the history, impact, and future of disability in horror. It wouldn’t be possible without our lovely supporters just like you, so thank you to our sponsors: @shudder, @bavcmedia, @fangoria, @thegarfofficial, and @macabredaily for making this possible.

We have fun on set! Enjoy these beautiful behind the scenes shots from @justaskabaska’s latest project, Monstrous Me, filmed at the formidable Firehouse: DCTV’s Cinema for Documentary Film in New York.

Without giving too much away, a sneak peek of this multi-faceted project will be shown at this year’s @accesshorror Film Festival on August 1st at the very same cinema (talk about full circle – we love @dctvny!). We’ll be sharing more when the time comes, but for now, follow along with us on this monstrous journey at @monstrousmirror. ❤️🪞

Special thanks to @headhunt for capturing our BTS magic!

Nightmares Film Festival was a deeply meaningful and outrageously fun time, and my first outing at a genre-specific film festival with Monstrous Me @monstrousmirror . I was genuinely blown away by the response to my film. Yes, it took a f*ckton of money and time to make, but to hear folks wrestling with their relationships to disability and media in dozens of conversations afterwards was immensely gratifying, and so much more than I ever could have hoped for.

Massive thanks to @jasontostevin and Chris and the wonderful Nightmares crew for creating such a welcoming environment!

Fun fact: I cancelled on Sitges to go to Nightmares, and it was absolutely the right choice (not just the cheaper one!) for me. by @justaskabaska
