I’ve always struggled with the label of being a writer it’s something I’m now proud to call myself growing up I never encountered books written by anyone from my background covering stories of our London Underground I’m here to change that thanks to my publisher and the team @cheeriopublishing for allowing me space to begin telling our stories can’t believe this picture is 20 years old mental by @cheeriopublishing

In a time where people whisper their thank you’s neglect to show appreciation forget the help they received to achieve their goals why the fuck don’t we reverse this and scream our thank yous be open about those who nudge us in the right direction and take the opportunities given to us and crush them with that being said a massive thank you @gabriel.krauze who I’ve only ever met one time at one event which is often enough to change the course of a persons life which it did salute. by @cheeriopublishing

Crazy last few days culminated in me receiving my first stripe at blue belt I’ve taken away many valuable lessons from weekend number 1 being I’ll be a white belt forever in my mind number 2 being my wins don’t define me my belts don’t define all I want to do is just get better ..thanks to the coaches @carlsongraciesurrey thanks to @samgibsonbjj @davepawan1 @sempaisteve and to everyone @carlsongraciesurrey by @cheeriopublishing

Over 10 years ago I decided to get into mentoring/coaching I had no idea what I was doing,I just knew I wanted to help people from a similar background to mine and to be that hand on shoulder that I needed growing up. It’s been a steep tough learning process making mistakes and missteps along the way however being able to share a part of peoples life journey has been endlessly rewarding beyond compare. Witnessing the growth of @aron_fightcoach from a teen into a young man who also now wants to give back and help in his community has confirmed that all the battles and arguments long phone calls and drives were all worth it. He’s a talented humble hard working young man which is all you can ask for. Only we can save ourselves instead of complaining about what we see going on we can make our own small changes in our communities. I’m no angel and well aware of my past and if I was able to do it then any one can we shouldn’t be afraid of the young they just need a bit of help and guidance. #coaching by @cheeriopublishing
