When documentary evidence can be verified through official records, why does this case continue?

What should have been straightforward to clarify remains an ongoing legal burden, with serious emotional and financial consequences for a mother and her three-year-old child.

Justice should establish the facts, not prolong a family’s suffering. A child deserves to grow up in peace.

I am Lorena A., a mother in Cusco, Peru, seeking justice for my three-year-old British son.

Seven months after the reported events, my son is still waiting to be heard. His father left for London after the events reported, and I have serious concerns about possible irregularities in the handling of this case.

I am seeking the attention of UK journalists and organisations who can help ensure that my son’s voice is heard and his rights are protected.

Please watch and share.

Is it a series of unfortunate coincidences, perfect coordination, or something more troubling? When public officials’ actions repeatedly appear to benefit the person under investigation, serious questions about transparency and accountability must be asked. My three-year-old son deserves justice. We need answers.

For five years, I endured violence. Even after he left, the terror continued in my own home. I was left to face the trauma while fighting numerous legal proceedings that have drained me physically, psychologically, and financially.

The investigation began not through my own report, but after a psychologist heard my son’s account and contacted Peru’s emergency helpline.

Was this legal harassment retaliation for reporting the facts, or an attempt to prevent my son from giving his forensic testimony?

He is now reportedly in London. My son and I remain in Peru, still fighting for justice.
