Wind in my hair, your hand in mine, and a whole city to fall in love in.

Once again, I can’t help but share these beautiful film shots. Get ready, because they’re about to take over your newsfeed :)

Being an empath, I feel the emotions of a wedding day deeply, but I’m also incredibly observant. I notice the little moments… the ones that may only last a few seconds but can mean everything.

This photo was taken just before the ceremony began. The groom’s grandmother was looking down at a framed photo of her late husband and talking to him. I couldn’t hear what she was saying, but I knew I was witnessing something incredibly meaningful.

I do feel when photographing with 35mm film it has a way of slowing down and truly soaking in what I’m capturing. There’s something about the look of film that makes these moments feel even more powerful, and I absolutely love it. 🤍

I found this song last week when it was my dad’s birthday. One week later and now it’s the 2 year anniversary since he unexpectedly passed away.

The waves of grief is an interesting ride. I needed to learn to live without my dad. He was my best friend and I was his baby girl. The bond we shared was something I will always miss. It drove my mom crazy how much we were so much alike, haha. I could tell him anything! He was such a great listener, even when his hearing was going bad.

Sam was a caring son, an amazing husband, a perfect dad, and such a loving grandparent. He truly gave his heart to all. I told myself after he passed, I would continue to give that same heart and love he gave to others… because if you think about it, sometimes love is just what we need. by @justjoniimages

I had the amazing opportunity to photograph at Sam’s workshop and learn so much about studio portrait photography. It was such a valuable experience, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to grow my skills.

Hawa was my first model to photograph, and even though our time together was short, I could immediately feel her calming presence. She truly was glowing in front of the camera, and it was such a joy to capture her! by @justjoniimages

I am SO happy and incredibly grateful to share that my business was named a Readers’ Choice Award favorite for Wedding Photographer—and I placed #3!

What better way to celebrate this exciting news than by sharing some photos from past weddings and all the beautiful, joyful moments that make this job so incredibly special.

I truly cannot thank you all enough for the support, love & votes :)

The sweetest moments are the ones happening quietly in the background.

Having my couples out of focus isn’t something I would normally do. But there was something so beautiful about this moment…
