Juxtaposed – One Take Sessions 🎶 We’re bringing back our “One Take Sessions” and this time, we decided to take on Teen Town by the legendary Weather Report. A jazz-fusion classic that has inspired generations of musicians, and a piece that gave us a whole new appreciation for the incredible musicianship behind it. This one’s also a tribute to the incomparable Jaco Pastorius, whose approach to the electric bass changed the instrument forever. He would have turned 75 this year, and his influence continues to be felt across the world of music. It’s been a while since we’ve shared something with you, and we thought this would be a fitting way to return to our One Take Sessions, where everything is performed live, just as it happens. Taking on a piece like this was both exciting and humbling, and while there’s always more to learn, we had a great time putting our own spin on something we admire so much. Here’s our little tribute to the legends who continue to inspire us. We hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed playing it!
