MUD FEST AT ITS BEST! The MXGP track in Uddevalla was definitely not showing its best side this weekend. Rain, rain and more rain — bikes were stuck everywhere, and the track turned into a real mud battle. JWR Honda MX Team Sweden has unfortunately had some bad luck with injuries, meaning both of our 250 riders were out. That left our two 450 riders, Filip Olsson and Linus Grelsson, to take on the mudfest. The racing was brutal, with riders getting stuck all over the track. It was almost like a lottery this weekend, with simply finishing the races being a challenge. Filip had some strong riding throughout the day, but unfortunately got stuck in the second moto. He never gave up and fought all the way to the finish, taking P7 overall. Linus also had some good rides and finished P13 overall, despite getting stuck in the downhill section of the track. Many bikes suffered in the extreme conditions, but the Honda bikes kept running strong throughout the mud, which was a big positive for the team. A huge thank you to Uddevalla MK for doing a great job preparing and running the event under such difficult conditions. It is definitely not easy to organize a race when the weather turns a track into this kind of mudfest! We definitely missed our 250 riders Hugo and Noel, but they will be back soon. Stay tuned for more news from JWR Honda MX Team Sweden Best Regards JWR HONDA RACING MX TEAM SWEDEN Poto:Anders Dahlberg Photography by @jwr_honda

Göta MS MXSM Race Report. MX2 – Hugo Forsgren Rain and a slippery track made for a tough weekend in Stockholm. Hugo had a great first heat, charging from P16 to P6 and riding really strong throughout the race. In the second heat, Hugo got off to another excellent start, coming out in P3 and showing good pace. Unfortunately, his foot-brake lever got bent, forcing him to lose valuable time and preventing him from fighting for the result he was capable of. No luck this time for the hard-charging Hugo, but the speed and riding were definitely there. MX1 – Linus Grelsson Linus was back behind the gate after six months out with injury. His comeback resulted in P17–P17. It’s not where Linus wants to be, but the most important thing is that he is back racing again. This is just the beginning of his comeback, and we look forward to seeing him build his speed and confidence with every round. MX1 – Filip Olsson Filip is still fighting his on-and-off illness. He managed a solid P10 in the first heat, but unfortunately had to DNF in the second heat. The focus now is to get home, regroup and recover before the next round at Uddevalla. Next stop: Uddevalla – time to reset and by @jwr_honda
MXGP of Holland 🇳🇱 The fill-in guy never gives up! .Lars van Berkel is amazing. Coming back from an injury, with only two times on the bike before this weekend, he still managed to score GP points with an incredible P20 in the second heat! On a brutal sand track, racing against the world’s fastest riders, that is something to be proud of. And for the Dutch riders, this track is always something special. 🇳🇱 This was the third year Lars has stepped in as a fill-in rider for JWR, and he leaves us with a championship point. Well done, Lars! Team Manager Johan Westermark: “Lars is a true friend of the team. When we need him, he is always there. We are very proud of his fighting spirit and positive attitude. Thanks, Lars, for your service to JWR!” Next up for the team: MXSM in Enköping, Sweden!🇸🇪. @24mx @jwr_honda @ravensportsofficial @madestickers @acerbis @onegripper @maximaspain @maximausa @twin_air @goldfren @prox _racing_parts @suter_racing @hondamc_sverige @afam.group @kiteparts @miroseatfoam @as3performance @proworksmoto @luxonmx @odi by @jwr_honda
Saturday at the MXGP of Holland 🇳🇱 Brutal sand, deep waves and the world’s fastest riders. Jumping in for a fill-in ride is never easy, but Lars stepped up and fought hard! 💪 Not the best start meant he had to dig deep. He was riding strong and running around P22 for 15 minutes, showing good pace in some seriously tough conditions. Unfortunately, after a mistake in the waves, he dropped back and finished P25 in the MXGP heat . @24mx @jwr_honda @ravensportsofficial @madestickers @acerbis @onegripper @maximaspain @maximausa @twin_air @goldfren @prox _racing_parts @suter_racing @hondamc_sverige @afam.group @kiteparts @miroseatfoam @as3performance @proworksmoto @luxonmx @odi Good riding, more experience and, most importantly, another day of valuable seat time on the Honda. Tomorrow is a new chance! 🔥🏁 Let’s go Lars! 🇳🇱 by @jwr_honda
