$🏀 Welcome Jaxson Yancy to Albany State Men’s Basketball! 🐏💙💛 The Golden Rams are excited to welcome Jaxson Yancy, a 6’5 wing from Little Rock, Arkansas, by way of ASU Mid-South, to Albany State Men’s Basketball. Jaxson arrives in Albany as one of the premier scorers and shooters in junior college basketball. Throughout his two-year career, he established himself as a consistent offensive threat, scoring 905 career points while knocking down an impressive 177 three-pointers at nearly 38% from beyond the arc. As a sophomore, Jaxson averaged 13.5 points and 5.2 rebounds per game, improving his efficiency to 44.4% from the field while continuing to be one of the top perimeter shooters in the country. His ability to score at all three levels, stretch the floor, and make timely shots makes him a dynamic weapon for the Golden Rams. Standing 6’5”, Jaxson combines size, athleticism, and versatility on the wing. Beyond his scoring ability, he impacts the game by rebounding, defending multiple positions, and creating opportunities for his teammates. His improved assist-to-turnover ratio and ability to contribute on both ends of the floor reflect his continued growth as a complete player. Jaxson brings experience, toughness, and a winning mentality to Albany State.
