A couple of weeks ago I went to such a dope 805 Hip-Hop rap show. Roc C double release album party. Such an Ill event! Shout Out to Slymer and ASR. All artists killed it for sure. That Dark Room performance was something else too. I was very impressed. Third Eye Vision was a dope set too. All the show was top tier. I am so glad I got to witness this event. Mucho respeto. by @k1ngm00n

Went to "The EP Collection presents The Playback" at Fuzion Fitness tonight. It was a great dance presentation from dance teams from all over the community. Props to all the great dance crews. There was a lot more I didn't take videos of. 805!!! by @k1ngm00n
Crazy! My sister found an old CD I had that I left in her garage. Some of my first ever recordings when I first started rappin'. This is when my homeboy Robert and I started doing shows and came up with some nanes for the group. We started as "Chicanos Cristianos" but we got critized by churches for that name so eventually Robert came up with "Tha Lordside G's". It was The Godly Funksta and Happy L.O.C. (Loc'd Out Christian). Then I moved back to Oxnard and eventually Robert funded and put this CD together and mailed me a copy. Quick fact: When I moved back I started going to a church where I met another emcee (who became one of my best homies) named Joaquin. Together we started rappin' as The "L.O.C.O.S." (Loc'd Out Christians Overcoming Sin) and recorded on a 4 track in his garage. I wish I still had that tape. He went by Solow at that time and I think I was still Happy Loc. Anyways, The Godly Funksta hooked up with a well known producer and started rappin' on his own and so he became "Tha Lordside Gangsta" because he loved that name so much and that was his baby. Good choice in my opinion. Well this is our first and only album together and as a group. The very talented Sara S. is all over this record too. This is just a reminder of my musical journey and the moments it captured. Not sayong that i'm super dope now, but I kind of sucked on this album because I can tell all the times I messed up. Half of this album was recorded live with no rehearsal and some freestyles on my part. I'm super glad that I finally have this again because I didn't know anyone who had this to make a copy. Only some guy who lives in Japan, but he wouldn't sell it to me no matter how much I offered him. Lol. One of my grails. The other 4 i'll never hear again. 1. My brother Ariel and I as Sons of Light. We did like 15 songs on a cassette tape. 2. A solo mixtape style tape I made myself in my room when I first moved back to Oxnard with like 13 songs. 3. My homie Quest and I as L.O.C.O.S. which was like 15 songs too. 4. My homie B.U.M. and I as "Tha Killah Emcees From Outaspace" when I first met Frank. I wonder if God has a tape player up in heaven? đŸ€” by @k1ngm00n
The Mars Volta! No opening act. Just them. It was cool, but @ace.03 and I learned a valuable lesson that night. by @k1ngm00n
Went to see Anthony Green. Courtesy of @ace.03 . It was a pretty cool show. We even met a very cool couple who loved Anthony Green and had the tatts to prove it. My legs hurt because I did a 10 hour shift before this show but i'm glad I went. Anthony Green can sing. Who is Anthony Green? Anthony Green is an American singer from Doylestown, Pennsylvania. He is currently the lead singer of Circa Survive, the Sound of Animals Fighting, and L.S. Dunes, while also maintaining a solo career. He was previously in the bands Saosin, Audience of One, Jeer at Rome, High and Driving, and Zolof the Rock & Roll Destroyer. Homie has paid his dues. by @k1ngm00n
So I went to the County Fair to see Hoobastank & Switchfoot after a 10 hour shift my legs hurted but I had fun with @ace.03 & @rayne.poetry ... so it was worth it. Finally got around to posting the concert. I came to watch Switchfoot more, but man, Hoobastank was so much better live. They really surprised me. I still love more Switchfoot albums and songs though, but they both rocked. I'm glad I went. by @k1ngm00n
