Throwback to 4 years ago!!

When LAKKSHYA was just finding its feet, one of the very first pieces we chose to make our own was the Kannada krithi Karunisou Taaye, composed by Sri Vasudevachar during Navaratri.

It felt right to begin with a prayer to the Mother. We kept the soul of the krithi rooted in its Carnatic heart, then brought in our own arrangements, letting each instrument find its voice around the melody. It was a small step, honouring tradition while exploring new colours of sound.

Every Navaratri, this one takes us back to those early days of rehearsals, experiments and endless cups of tea. 💛

Thank you to everyone who has walked with us since then. Here's to the Divine Mother's grace, and to many more journeys in music.

On the auspicious occasion of Ganesha Chaturthi on 19th Sept 2026, our little Saanvii (6 years) gave her very first public performance in front of nearly 400 people, at the celebrations organised by our Beverly Hills community.

She presented violin, vocal, keyboard and drums, one after the other. It was the first time she has performed all four together, and watching her go on stage with such innocence and joy is a moment we will treasure forever.

We are deeply grateful to Lord Ganesha for His grace, to her gurus @_chinmayee_bharadwaj training her on Keyboard, @__paramathma___ training her on drums @kiran_bs and @babuschoolofrhythms for their patience and guidance, and to our Beverly Hills family for giving her this beautiful platform and showering her with so much love and encouragement.

This is just the first small step in a long journey. We humbly seek all your blessings for Saanvii, that she keeps learning with sincerity, stays grounded and kind, and is blessed with good health, happiness and a peaceful life. 🌸

Thanks to my student @shrikirti_raman for the edits ❤️

With gratitude 🙏

Every great story has its quiet beginnings. 🤍

A few moments from the studio, where the music found its voice, one note at a time. 🎻

The best is yet to come.

Every song on this album has been crafted with patience, note by note, like a raga unfolding slowly. 🎶

Its name and artwork deserve the same care.

We had promised to reveal them on 18th October, but we’ve chosen to wait a little longer, until they truly feel like the music they represent.

Good things take time. Beautiful things take a little more. ✨

The reveal is coming soon. Thank you for your love and patience. 🙏 by @k_j_d_violin

A little peek into our rehearsal room in Europe: the chaos, the grooves, the bassist’s dance moves 🕺 and that piano solo we wish had never ended 😎

Now TODAYS news 👀

Our 2nd album is on its way.
7 tracks. 5 international collaborations. A whole new world of sound. 🌍✨

The name and artwork drop this SUNDAY. 🗓️

Turn on post notifications so you don’t miss it 🔔
