From Africa’s highest peak, a reminder of Rotary's highest mission to #EndPolioNow. As long as polio exists anywhere, it’s a threat everywhere. #WorldPolioDay by @kabrotary

This year, I was honoured to be one of six people worldwide recognised by @rotaryinternational as a 2026 People of Action Honoree, Champions of Tomorrow. The work we do in our communities matters, and that stories of young people creating change deserve to be seen, celebrated and shared with the world. Now, it’s time to shine a light on more changemakers! Nominations for the 2027 Rotary People of Action Honors close tomorrow October 30. This year’s theme, Champions of Prevention, celebrates projects that address the root causes of community challenges and create lasting change. Do you know a Rotarian, Rotaractor or another eligible member of the Rotary family leading meaningful change? Don’t let their story go untold. Take a moment to nominate them before the deadline. 🔗 Nominate now: https://www.rotary.org/who-we-are/rotary-people-of-action-honors Someone out there is changing lives. Let’s make sure the world hears their story! #Rotary #PeopleOfAction by @kabrotary
Sometime in September, I had the pleasure of being invited by the District Community Service Committee to lead a session on storytelling using photographs for our service projects. We do a lot of amazing work in our communities, but sometimes we forget to capture and share the moments that tell the story. We explored how simple photographs can help us document our work, share our experiences and show others what service really looks like. Over the years, some of my photographs have been featured in Rotary magazines and at the Rotary International Convention, showcasing Rotarians as People of Action. It’s always fulfilling to see these moments travel beyond our communities and tell stories of the impact we make. I look forward to many more of these! by @kabrotary
Yesterday, I joined the 100,000+ runners in Kampala and around the country for the 2026 Rotary Cancer Run, raising more than $1.5m towards improved cancer training infrastructure and personnel training. Proud to have added my steps to such an impactful cause. Huge shoutout to everyone who took part or donated! 💙 by @kabrotary
Been a while since I did proper little runs, so last week was basically me reminding my body what running feels like 😂🏃🏾‍♂️ A little running. A little walking in preparation for the Rotary Cancer Run this Sunday. 🎗️ Slowly getting back into it 🏃🏾‍♂️ Will you be joining us? #CancerRunUG26 by @kabrotary

And when we catch up, we reminisce on our special time. 🥹❤️✨ In the photo is part of the Rotaract District 9213 leadership Team for 23/24 with our DRR Emmanuel. Between then and now, some of the members have had significant life changes, but once a team, always a family. 🤝💙 by @kabrotary
From the first time I met @yinkarotary at the District Conference in Kampala in 2021, to the Cancer Run, the Africa Peace Concert both in Kampala in 2022, the Rotary Convention Singapore in 2024, and the Fusion Summit in Brussels in 2025, every encounter with him has been marked by the same humility, warmth, and genuine heart for people. Today, seeing him become only the second African, and the first former Rotaractor to serve as President of Rotary International is a proud moment for our continent and for every young leader who believes in the journey. The number of times he has chosen to visit Kampala speaks volumes about his belief in the region and its people. And in October, we’ll have the privilege of welcoming him back to Kampala for the All Africa Zone Institute. Congratulations, President Yinka. Wishing you a year of extraordinary impact. Africa is proud. #WorkDey by @kabrotary
I am honored to become a Paul Harris Fellow because, in the many schools, health centers, and communities I have visited around the world, I have seen firsthand the life-changing impact of Rotary. Those experiences have shown me that every contribution to The Rotary Foundation creates opportunities, restores hope, and transforms lives around the world. Rotary has given me so much—friendships, purpose, leadership, and unforgettable experiences, and this recognition inspires me to continue giving back, knowing that even the smallest act of generosity can make a lasting difference. by @kabrotary
The future doesn’t happen by chance; it’s planned. Our Projects Service Director, @kabrotary, already laid the foundation for a year of impactful projects, meaningful service, and lasting change. #RotaractLegacy #RotaryEyamba by @kabrotary
