POSTS STORIES REELS

last night, i had the absolute privilege of meeting @eloracookauthor (finally!) at @booksofwonder to discuss her debut novel “in the company of killers” on release day. if you’ve been following my account, you know that i have been screaming about this book for months now and i’m so happy that i was able to help elora celebrate.

the event was so nice and i even met @scarletwitchypages from the itcok street team, as well as @_ashbraun_. it was amazing to spend time beforehand and talk about the book and other favorites of ours. the preorder goodies are amazing, and the custom made cookies are adorable and almost too cute to eat.

this was definitely one of my favorite book signings, and i cannot wait for the second book to drop (fingers crossed for sooner rather than later). ♥️

special spotlight post to one of my favorite reads of last year. “thrum” made @megsmitherman an auto-buy author for me, and it fucked me up in the best and most lovingly way possible. even now, six months after i first read it, this book crawls out of the recesses of my mind in the middle of the night and smacks me across the face. i can’t stop thinking about it.

this tiny book packs a big punch, and i never knew that i could find a gaslighting alien hauntingly romantic. 🪴

have you read any of meg smitherman’s works?

come emboss “tampa” with me!

my mom gifted me this sticker embosser the other day, and i am absolutely obsessed with it (i mean, who wouldn’t be? harold’s on it!) i’ve been wanting to get one for months now, and i’m so happy that i can finally do this.

i am going to be making my way through my bookshelf and stamping all of my favorites, but i figured it would be fun to bring you guys along for one of the first books i stamped.

happy first day of march! the weather is starting to get warmer here, the skies brighter and bluer, and it’s finally nice enough to spend time outdoors. i can’t wait to ride my bike around the neighborhood and sit at my patio table and read.

i’ve been taking my time with “addie larue” and i am loving every second of it. i’ve had it on my bookshelf for a few years, but i definitely think that it was one of those right-place-and-right-time type of stories.

are you excited for spring? what are you currently reading?

monday, @jennyfioreads and i drove up to new york city to attend @katienaymonwrites’s book signing at mcnally jackson in the financial district/seaport area. i’ve never been in that area of the city before, and it was so fun to explore it with jenny for the first time. i can’t recommend it enough, especially the tin building (excluding the 100% cacao bar we tried and spit out the window on the drive home. 😅)

katie naymon was an absolute delight to meet and the q&a was wonderfully fun and silly. i cannot wait to read her book this spring. ♥️

just a little over six months until romance con 2025! is it too early to start making friendship bracelets and planning out bookish outfits?

ladies and gentlemen: him. my beloved, my baby boy. harold.

i got him two years ago on a nyc day trip with @lilruss16. we stopped at fao schwarz and got him. his right ear is personally embroidered and says “twpk” which is very fitting as he is named after harry styles. ♥️

harold goes everywhere with me, and he provides so much comfort. i have always loved plushies and stuffed animals, but harold is definitely one of my all-time favorites.

i hope he’s enjoying “bunny” as much as i did. hopefully, he doesn’t get too freaked out about the smut salon.

(swipe left to see the meme i made that i’m sure @willmccorryplaysgeetar will just absolutely love.)
