These past couple of years have been hard and emotional, but this year was different. I truly feel blessed with the girls I played with and the many friendships I’ve made with volleyball. The one I owe it all to the most is God. It’s truly a privilege to have a relationship with Him. I thank God so much for making the person I am today and to know he’s always with me wherever I go. I know I can always talk to Him and to say I played for Him till the last whistle. To my best friend, Karly — the one I should’ve had 3 years of volleyball with — you kept me going and kept my love for the game alive. I could always look over at you in the stands, and somehow, you always knew how to calm me down or make me laugh. You’ve been one of my biggest supporters, and I’m so thankful to have a best friend like you. To my sophomores, Julianne, Mylei, Braylee, and my little Bekah — you’ll always hold a special place in my heart. I wish I had one more year with you guys. I can’t wait to see everything the future holds for you guys and will always cheer you on. Thank you for always being there, for all the car rides, and for the memories we’ve made. To the future seniors- To Mady, whom I could look to and hug to reset after a point. To Maylee, when we were in serve receive, we could let out our scream after we lost a point. To Sara whom I can just have a good laugh when we do our clap thingy. To Elizabeth, who was always determined and would hype me up after a good set. Then Lily, you put your heart and soul into the game every time you went in and always did amazing. I’m grateful for each of you and I’m excited to see you girls be the next leaders. And to the Fab Five — I’m so lucky to have such an amazing group of friends. Some of us go back to third grade, others to seventh, but I’m so grateful for all of you. These last four years wouldn’t have been the same without you. I’m so glad we had each other from start to finish 🤍 Ive never been so sad but so happy that it’s over. Happy for the memories, the lessons, and the people who made this year so special. Thank you, everyone, for being part of this chapter of my life. ❤️ #24 out ✌🏼 by @kaleby_stevens0n
