#jazzfestivalwillisau #programm2025

///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Nicolas Stocker (drums, electronics), Urs Müller (guitar), and Raphael Loher (piano, electronics) work as a collective that sees minimal, ambient, jazz, and electronic music as mere variations of a common language. They combine prepared piano sounds, effect-laden guitar tones and minimal drum beats to create a visually stunning sound that blends densely woven textures with psychedelic soundscapes.

You can find the complete program for the 50th anniversary of the Willisau Jazz Festival in 2025 on our website (link in bio).

🚀 Video Premiere Alert! 🚀

We’re excited to share our new live video: KALI Trio: «The Playful Abstract» – Live at Bell Areal! 🎥✨

Filmmaker Yannick Mosimann captured us playing a little suite from our new album, featuring Flux, Shift, and 4K Gently Peaceful. Shot on 16mm Kodak Vision3 250D film and a Arriflex Sr2 camera, we only had enough film to play the suite twice—so this is as close to a real live take as it gets!
Huge thanks to @yannick.mosimann for the concept & filming, @jonashani for the sound, @bureau_mia for the design, and @eigenmannlichtgestaltung for the lighting & gear support.

Appreciation post for our amazing design team - We’re very lucky that we were able to work with you on the design of „The Playful Abstract“.
@bureau_mia has allready made the design for our previous album „LOOM“ and now again for „The Playful Abstract“. We‘re really happy how it turned out and that every vinyl has it‘s unique pattern of white and blue is a super nice touch! Photografer @angelikaannen worked closely together with Mia on the photos and created this mirror- and waterlike effect, which fit‘s so nice to our music. Thank you!✨

Grateful, that our new album „The Playful Abstract“ has been featured on @bandcamp frontpage for almost a full week and is included in Bandcamp Daily‘s essenential releases:

„That individual solos and conventional melodies play barely perceptible, even nonexistent, roles in The Playful Abstract‘s broader continuity—theirs is a musical economy unified around vibes and atmosphere, rather than personality—further augments the immersion, supported by the brisk pacing and bite-sized runtimes that keep the expansive moments from spinning out into boredom.“ - Bandcamp Daily
