Introducing our Quogue Generational project 💙

Designed as a summer retreat for a West Coast family returning east to gather with loved ones, this home was created to feel calm, welcoming, and ready for a full house. The result is a home that feels serene, flexible, and deeply connected to the way the family lives together.

These are just a few early glimpses. We’ll be sharing more from this project throughout the spring!

Our chief-in-charge, Kevie Murphy: former prosecutor turned Principal Designer. Because when life gives you courtrooms, you design living rooms!

‘I never imagined myself as an interior designer,’ Kevie says. ‘But honestly, so much of what I did as a lawyer translates: managing chaos, problem-solving, and keeping everyone on track.’

Eight years later, she’s built a firm that reflects not just her passion but her philosophy—collaboration is everything.

‘I’m lucky to work with people I trust creatively and who build our clients’ visions alongside me, not beneath me,’ Kevie shares. And with our incredible team, we’re proud to see those visions come to life!

Stick around to see more of the K.A. Murphy happenings.

Still glowing from Holiday House 2025. 💗

We were honored to design "Where Light Falls"—the foyer, stairwell, and adjoining hallways—for this year’s @holidayhousedesigns, benefiting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. It was a light-filled labor of love, brought to life by an all-women team and an incredible community of creative partners.

Keep following along for vendor spotlights in Stories—and see those tagged for the artists, makers, and friends who made this all possible.

A little October recap! 🍂

From welcoming Conrad into the studio to visiting the @subzeroandwolf Global Campus in Madison, Wisconsin, it’s been a month full of inspiration, learning, and new ideas. And of course, we couldn’t end October without celebrating our principal designer, KEVIE! 🎂

Moodboard Monday ✨

A little inspiration to start the week! Layered textures, thoughtful details, and a mix of colors and patterns that bring a space to life. Because every beautiful design starts with a little inspiration.

A space that knows how to embrace the dark side 🖤

Black brick, dramatic stone, cognac leather, and rich, moody details give our Gentleman's Lounge project an atmosphere all its own. No seasonal decorating necessary, this space brings just the right amount of drama year-round.

Especially fitting for this spooky time of year 👻 by @kamurphyinteriors

Bringing new life to a well-loved space ✨

As part of our Quogue Generational Getaway, we reimagined this primary bathroom with a lighter palette, warm wood tones, and natural textures. A fresh new chapter for a home designed to be enjoyed for generations to come! by @kamurphyinteriors

We love when a color story quietly follows you through a home 🤎

In our Rustic Elegance Project, warm woods, soft neutrals, black accents, and touches of red create a thread from room to room. Each space has its own personality, but together they tell the same story through color, texture, and material.

It’s all about creating connection without making everything match! by @kamurphyinteriors

A HUGE thank you to Dan over at @starkcarpet for gifting us this stunning stair runner for our Manhasset office! 🤎

Who says the workplace can’t have a little wild side? We’re loving the fierce personality this adds to our space! 🐆✨
