My First World Premiere ๐Ÿ’ซ Iโ€™m delighted to share Iโ€™ll be debuting an original pas de deux for BBSIโ€™s Tenth Anniversary Gala. Inspired by an unforgettable performance of The Met Operaโ€™s Tristan Und Isolde I saw, this duet set to the Liebestod (orchestral version) explores the concepts of love beyond death, the passage of time, and what awaits us in the next life. I plan to grow this into a full piece one day to include the stunning prelude from T&I, so I figured; why not start the end? This piece debuts on August 14 at the AJ Fletcher Opera Theater, and will be danced by these brilliant artists: Kanon Kimura & Tristan Brosnan (the irony isnโ€™t lost on me.)
