The art of a hair appointment 📹
The shampoo. The cut. The blowout. The styling >

Every step of the appointment, right through to the final look. Soft layers, dimensional brunette, and those effortless waves that make the whole look.

The final result gets all the attention, but the process is where the magic happens 🎥

Every foil is placed with intention. Every formula is customized. Every appointment starts with a plan, not a one-size-fits-all technique.

A little color theory behind the chair 📹 For this transformation, Kanvas stylist @kartergoforth created four different formulas across four sections:

🖤 Oxycur Platin + Gloss Tones 8KG + Clear (equal parts)
🖤 Top Chic 7RR + 7K with Gloss Tones 7OR overlay
🖤 Gloss Tones 8KG
🖤 Top Chic 8K

A true example of how technique, color theory, and creativity come together behind the chair.

Your dream color starts before you even sit in the chair. A little prep goes a long way in helping your appointment run smoothly and making sure you leave with results you love 🤍

A few ways to prep for your color appointment:

Step 1
• Save 3–5 inspiration photos that reflect the tone, dimension, and overall look you’re after.

Step 2
• Come with clean, dry hair (unless your stylist tells you otherwise). Skip heavy oils, color sprays, or dry shampoo.

Step 3
• Wear a top that’s easy to change out of and be prepared to spend a few hours in the chair.

Step 4
• Trust the process. Be open to your stylist’s recommendations, they’ll help create a color that’s realistic, healthy, and customized to you!
