@michelle_tshibola

Michelle Tshibola is an artist, director, and performer whose work brings together dance, poetry, and performance to create powerful, immersive stories. Also known to be the founder of the black and queer cabaret @venus___noire , these mediums are central to his creative practice and to his sense of purpose as an artist.

His work is deeply engaged with his experience as a queer Black person navigating a patriarchal society, using art as a space for expression, resistance, and connection. He is drawn to originality, distinctive artistic and visual identities, and genuine emotion. Above all, he seeks to create performances that tell a compelling story and invite audiences to connect with the world he creates.

My last gig in Bordeaux was absolutely amazing! ❤️‍🔥

A huge thank you to the entire @maisonpourpe teams for this be.forte party before the Pride !

Thank you @raziel_db to always trust me for your beautiful projects!

The venue, the performances, and the crowd were fabulous. Just before Pride, this open-air party was the perfect way to celebrate together.

I tried to set up a camera so I could share the set with you, but as you’ll see… I truly have the audience I deserve: fab, loud, and completely chaotic. Each slide gets worse and at one point they even put on a full performance right in front of the camera while I was trying to act nonchalant. Bye 😭

I love you all. It’s always my greatest pleasure to make you dance and to see you fully living in the moment with me. ❤️

📷Thank you for these amazing videos my love @wisss.mp4

This Wednesday BLEND is from Paris with Love - groovy, bouncy and carefree @karaba.project

Meet KÅRABĀ, a Paris-based DJ weaving unique sonic spells inspired by musical influences from around the world. Rooted in queer and Afro cultures, their sound is eclectic and high-energy, blending bouncy, groovy techno and house while telling immersive, story-driven journeys through music.

Notes on the Mix ///
“Made in Paris after work, straight from raw energy into the decks. This mix is all about making you dance bouncy techno, groovy house, sharp transitions, subtle vocals weaving through the rhythm. No overthinking, just movement, sweat, and release.I see this mix as something built to make everyone sweat even if you’re not used to this kind of style, there’s a moment where you can find yourself in it.” taken in XOXA by @__cleo__bx
