🌞 At The Pop Yard, we believe every immigrant, especially immigrant women, brings so much value to Canada. Their stories, flavours, culture and hard work make this country richer, and that’s why we always work to help people feel seen and represented.

So it was such an honour to sponsor the amazing @mariabonita.kitchen at Pastabilities this year. Watching our Brazilian crew alongside 27 of Windsor’s most loved restaurants and chefs, sharing a taste of Brazil, made our hearts so full. And together, everyone in that room raised $50,350 in one afternoon to fight hunger in Windsor-Essex!

Thank you to @uhcwindsor and @cf_windsor for creating a space where our whole community feels included.

Today we picked up our gratitude package from @uhcwindsor, we’re so grateful to be cooking at the 4th Annual Pastabilities Luncheon this Monday, October 19, alongside 25+ local restaurants who all said yes to the same cause.

Every ticket helps UHC fight hunger right here in Windsor-Essex, where food banks recorded over 254,000 visits last year.

If you can’t make it to the table, you can still be part of it by grabbing a ticket through the link in @uhcwindsor’s bio. And if you can make it, come find our plate and save your vote for Maria Bonita Kitchen 🇧🇷

We’ve been selected to cook at the 4th Annual Pastabilities Luncheon, and we’re bringing a Brazilian twist to the pasta table.

On Monday, October 19, 25 restaurants from across Windsor-Essex will serve their best pasta under one roof, and you get to taste them all and vote for your favourite. 100% of the proceeds go to UHC Hub @uhcwindsor of Opportunities and their work fighting hunger in our community.

We’re keeping our dish a secret for now. What we can promise is that it won’t taste like anything else in the room. Come find our table, try it, and if it wins you over, it gets your vote.

1° parte de uma das melhores ferias que ja tive. Aproveitei meu pai que ja está com quase 81 anos, curti minha familia, fiz novos amigos.
Foi maravilhoso. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Part 1 of one of the best vacations I’ve ever had. I spent quality time with my dad—who is nearly 81—enjoyed being with my family, and made new friends.
It was wonderful. 🥰🥰🥰 by @karine_pinto_ca

Foz fo Iguaçu.
If you have the opportunity to travel to Brazil, go to Iguaçu National Park and visit the Iguaçu Falls. It is a beautiful place, full of good energy that renews your soul. by @karine_pinto_ca

Maravilhoso.
