Dr. Kar played small animal surgeon for a day 🩺🐾

So grateful for opportunities like this that remind me why I chose this path in the first place. Getting to broaden my learning, be hands-on, and become a little more like the veterinarian that 5-year-old Kar always dreamed of being is pretty special.

Thank you, Jesus, for the opportunity to be on this journey and the path to become the first doctor in my family. AND a little reminder to whoever is reading this: your background or the cards you were or have been dealt never have to determine where your future goes. Keep going. Ps. Peep the ducks on my surgery cap🤭🐥🫧

@recapturelivestream thank you for forever changing my life. 🥹❤️

My FIRST red carpet moment and I genuinely don’t even have the words. I’m just so overwhelmed with gratitude for every opportunity, every friendship, every person, every financial blessing, and every single moment this community has brought into my life.

So so grateful to Jesus for continuing to open doors I never could’ve imagined for myself. Getting to live out something like this while STILL chasing my biggest dream of becoming a veterinarian is something I will never take for granted.

Forever blessed, forever humbled, and forever grateful for this season of life. 🤍✨ by @karleebarnhill

Plot twist: God knew what He was doing the entire time.

last 2 months have been busy busy, moved to Florida, started vet school, met some of the best friends, became vice president of my class, got engaged, acquired entirely too many ducklings & somehow built a pretty sweet little life in between 😂🌴🐥💍📚☀️🐾🩺

busy, slightly chaotic & covered in a whole lot of gods goodness.

Jesus knew. He always does. #summerdump by @karleebarnhill

🤍🐴

If there’s one thing my story has taught me, it’s that God’s plans are always so much sweeter than my own.

And now we finally get to share our favorite chapter yet… we’re engaged.

Aus,

Looking back, I think part of me always knew there was something special about you. There was something about the way you looked at me that my heart never completely forgot, and it’s so beautiful to see how God has a way of leading you back to where you were always meant to be.

Thank you for loving me so naturally, so fully, and without question. Thank you for standing beside me through some of my lowest lows, packing up your life to start this new chapter with me, and choosing me every single day. You have shown me what love rooted in Christ truly looks like.

Romans 8:28 has always been woven through my testimony, and now I see it woven through our story too. Looking back, I can see God’s hand in every chapter, faithfully working all things together for good and gently leading me here… to you.

This was the easiest “yes” I’ll ever say.

I can’t wait to build a life, a marriage, and a forever with you.

Future Mr. & Mrs. Randall.

To God be all the glory.

Thank you for the cross Jesus 💛
~
Easter hits different when you’ve seen what God can pull you out of.

There were moments I didn’t recognize myself…
hurt I didn’t know how to carry…
and places I never thought I’d make it out of.

But Jesus didn’t wait for me to have it all together…
He met me right there.

And in those moments… he saved me. He became my peace.

And if you’re reading this and in a season that feels heavy or confusing…
you’re not too far gone, and you don’t have to be perfect for Him. Surrender it to him at the cross…

He is risen <3

Still thinking about this moment…

Not because of the award but because of everything it took to get me there.

8 months ago, I took a chance on something I didn’t fully understand… and somehow, it led me all the way to Hawaii surrounded by people who feel like family, doing something I genuinely love…sharing the gospel online. It’s given me the freedom to still pursue veterinary medicine without burning myself out working hours that actually let me enjoy and stay passionate about the field. Recapture didn’t just change my life financially… it changed me.

My confidence. My faith. My circle. My mindset.

Looking back now, I can see God’s hand in every single step even the hard ones.

If you’re in a season of uncertainty… just start. You never know where He might take you 🤍
