🪻✨Song of Midnight✨🪻

on 11/6, @luridlacquer is releasing Song of Midnight, a beautiful 14 piece, poem based collection which seeks to capture the profound peace the maker feels wandering their hometown at night. I have 7 of the 14 polishes to share and I wanted to start off strong with one of my favs (spoiler: they’re all my favs)

Song of Midnight
by K. Cralli

In the endless hours of a restless night
I wander these old, familiar streets
Seeking the sanctum of darkness

Clouds overhead obscure the glowing moon
The verdant earth now painted in grayscale

And on the wind, all around me, emanates
A song of midnight:

The chittering of katydids
The chirp and call of frogs
The rustle of deer through big bluestem

I offer to their symphony
The rhythm of my footsteps
The steady beating of my heart

Here, I am home
