Your identity is bigger than your feelings! Big time .

I remember finishing Why You Act the Way You Do and feeling like I had finally understood parts of myself I had struggled with for years.

It helped me understand my personality and character traits, and how to manage them and use them to my advantage.

I read The Mountain Is You after getting engaged, when I was battling a lot of self-sabotaging thoughts.

I highly recommend both books. They will call you out and give you practical steps to move forward.

Have you read either? What other books would you recommend? by @kasiem_obi

There was a Dress your Miracle Hallelujah Challenge, I didn’t dress up or ask for anything material.

All I just wanted was the miracle of Wisdom.

I had seen how lack of wisdom and preparation can make you despise the miracle that you desperately prayed for.

Not knowing how to navigate business challenges can make one wish they never started the business in the first place.
Not knowing how to navigate misunderstandings and disagreements in a relationship has made me ask if some relationship were even God’s will.

How not knowing how to navigate the challenges in pregnancy and child raising has made women say they were never getting pregnant again, after years of waiting.

Should I even talk about how office politics has made me doubt if God’s will for me was to work in a Job I expressly got an instruction from God to work at ?

Things that were desperately prayed for.

I’ve seen how a lack of wisdom in navigating life situations can wreck what you once prayed for.

So this time, like Solomon, I really just wanted wisdom.

Because Miracles Deserve Preparation.

If you’re trusting God for marriage, why not start learning about communication, how men and women think, and how to navigate disagreements?

If you’re praying for a job, learn about the workplace and office politics. If you’re building a business, learn how to handle the challenges that come with it.

You don’t have to wait until you’re in that situation before you start learning how to handle it. There are books to read, people to learn from, and things you can start working on now.

Of course, you learn some things on the Job. However, there is so much you can learn from the experience and wisdom of others and God.

One thing that has stuck with me since I made that prayer was that - Wisdom comes from the humility to sit and learn.

I hope this inspires someone to sit and learn.

See you tonight for Hallelujah Challenge. ❤️ by @kasiem_obi
