Introducing Munay Trio

We are very happy to share a first glimpse of our new musical project.

Munay Trio is formed by:
🎹 Julia Kasimova — piano
🎻 Josep Oriol — cello
🎶 Mario Alonso — flute & composition

The trio explores a musical language close to chamber folklore — an intimate sound world where classical chamber music meets the spirit and colors of folk traditions.

Today we share a short fragment of “Alma”, a piece composed by Mario and dedicated to his daughter. The music was born from the experience of becoming the father of a girl — from the sense of discovery, tenderness, and the deep connection that grows between a father and his daughter.

“Alma” reflects that bond and how life transforms and gains new meaning with the arrival of a daughter.

The video fragment you see was beautifully filmed by Ailynn Gratteau.

The full video will be released very soon. Thank you for being part of this new beginning. ✨

This Saturday on the 14th of March we’re back with another Low Light Session at Schall und Rauch!✨

An open, cozy jam where musicians and listeners come together to play, listen, and share the moment. We’d love to see you there and make some music together! Show starts at 9pm. Till then!
