POSTS STORIES REELS

Ok, first post since December 31, 2023. I didn’t anticipate it would take so long to make my social media comeback… but here we are!
In December 2023, I was unexpectedly diagnosed with breast cancer. By January 2024, I found out it had spread to my lymph nodes and had to immediately start an aggressive treatment plan. It has been a long, intense cancer recovery journey, to say the least.
But through the whirlwind of emotions, I found comfort in my faith - knowing God would work everything out for my good and His glory, as He always does. It’s amazing how He uses trying situations to show you how loved and supported you are.
I am so incredibly blessed. My family and friends went above and beyond to support me. Whether it was checking on me, taking me to appointments, sending meals, care packages, gift cards, donations for medical fees, celebrating milestones with me, or praying over me. It has helped me through the toughest times. Your continued support is everything to me.
By Jesus’ stripes, I am healed. I am a living testimony of His power, goodness, grace, and favor. I am so grateful to share my journey (this reel is a small glimpse) and that I am in cancer remission! 🙌🏾✨ I can’t thank God and my support system enough.
Thank you to everyone who has messaged to check on me, knowing or not knowing about my diagnosis. It means the world, and I hope to catch up and reply to you all soon. If you are going through a tough time, I pray that you will keep the faith, be encouraged, and know that God will work it out for you too. ❤️

Two more restaurants to add to your list of DMV spots! Both located in Downtown Silver Spring @DTSilverSpring, one of my favorite spots to go out to eat and shop!
📍Locavino
📍Copper Canyon Grill

Went to @locavino for lunch, and I love being able to browse/shop their beverage selections while waiting for my food. Their Sauv Blanc paired so well with their flatbread (I got mine with pesto sauce and held the toppings), and their shrimp scampi (seasoned to perfection). 🥂

Went to dinner at @ccgrillamerica, and enjoyed everything I ordered! My drink of choice was the Elite Margarita. Then I had the Fiesta Egg Rolls (I was obsessed with their campfire sauce that came on the side), followed by the Short Smoked Atlantic Salmon (cooked to perfection) and finished with the Chocolate Uprising (so decadent)! I’m definitely glad I left room for dessert! 🍨

#sponsored Two delicious spots to keep in mind for holiday dining @DTSilverSpring!

I went to dinner at @ccgrillamerica, and their food and drinks were so good! I went with the Elite Margarita for my drink, started w/the Fiesta Egg Rolls, followed by the Short Smoked Atlantic Salmon, and finished with the Chocolate Uprising. 🍨

I also stopped by @locavino again for lunch, and their wine and food was delicious as always. I sipped on Sauv Blanc, started with their Flatbread, and ended with the Shrimp Scampi.🥂

Have you been to either of these spots? Let me know!
