Not a single human being is illegal. 🇲🇽🇺🇸🌵 I’ve been ranging between grief, sadness, fear, frustration, and anger. All I can say is hold your loved one close. Try your best to prepare for the imminent future. We need love right now. Spread love. We need hope. Don’t loose hope. #fuckICE#nohumanisillegal#chingalamigra#LA#art#love by @kassatan

And I am you, and you are me. Until I am me, and you are you. by @kassatan
“I feel like I live in a world that doesn’t allow me to truly be who I am. I am pathetically intense, I simply can’t be any other way. I live in a world where my authenticity can be easily prescribed as insanity. I find that at times I feel the need to pretend that I am not that, to feel some type of earthly connection, but when I lay in bed alone at night, I am left with a grieving feeling of the truth I betrayed and a powerless feeling that we all share the fate of universal suffer because we are conscious beings. And it all feels torturous and I am consumed by existential questions. Why am I here ? What is the purpose of my consciousness? Why do those who think suffer like this? In the end, we all die anyways.” And I stood there in silence, listening, as the child finished his explosive existential rant and finally went silent too. That silence we shared answered the unanswerable. #donttakemywritingtooserious by @kassatan
