I brought my newly found point and shoot Snappy XL and was very excited to use it. Here are some of the outtakes from that fun evening.

The yearly primalage to #NewBruswickCanada. Over the years, I had become slightly obessed with the top bedroom that overlooks the vally and the river. For a long time, I felt it was too bright and I really disliked it. After I got over bright sunlight, I looked around and the memory of each thing, each piece of furtiure, all the books and photographs stared at me back. This year, I REALLY wanted to document it and keep it with me forever.

30 de Abril- Portraits of James, a neighbor from almost 10 years ago. I texted him three times. He didn’t answer. My heart sank—he’s 85, and I was worried something had happened. So I stayed on the block, shooting the surroundings, letting my camera distract me. Thirty minutes later, walking home slowly, I spotted him talking to a friend, “Oh, are you looking for me?” he asked. Yes! We walked over to his apartment, where he pointed to his favorite sofa seat with white crochet placemats his mother made decades ago. He showed me walls of family photos, grandchildren, and a framed letter inviting him to try out for the Brooklyn Dodgers—where he met Jackie Robinson. He told me, “I’m really glad I did this. I didn’t know what to expect.” Thank you, James, for trusting me with your story. 📸✨
