Hello!

My name is Kate Holovatyi, I’m the owner and makeup artist behind Kate Makeup Artistry. I see a lot of new faces here so I wanted to reintroduce myself. 🫶 I specialize in timeless & classic beauty. Providing soft and natural makeup looks to clients who want to feel and look like themselves, enhanced. I’ve been a makeup artist for over 12 years. I love working with brides, keeping them calm and confident on their wedding days with some laughs in between. 😉

A month ago my husband and I uprooted our lives in PA to move down South! We live in the Charlotte area — everyone always asks why we moved. The main reason? The weather. We are sunshine people and love the active /outdoor lifestyle down here. ☀️ We’re loving it so far and I’m so excited for my upcoming NC/SC weddings! Thank you brides for already trusting in me. 💖 I offer my wedding makeup services all throughout North & South Carolina. ✈️

For those local to Charlotte, I offer makeup for photoshoots, events and special occasions. I also LOVE to teach others what I know. I currently offer in person lessons (individual or in a group setting) and for those further away, I offer virtual lessons. 🖥️ 📝

You can book and get your know me and my services more through the link in my bio. Xo

The weirdest step I never skip in makeup.

Once the lipstick is applied, I use a clean cotton swab to gently remove any excess product from the inner part of the lips. This prevents lipstick from transferring onto the teeth. 💋

Little things like these make all the difference in your artistry!

From soft glam to full glam. 🥂🪩🎀💋

Marissa loved her soft glam trial but realized she’s definitely more of a full glam girlie and wanted to go all out for the wedding day. A few tweaks later and here’s the final look! ✨
