SO PROUD OF THE ENTIRE @wthia_movie team! Last night we were so honored to accept the Best Tennessee Feature Award at the 57th @nashfilmfest! We are so thankful to the Festival, Programmers, Jurors, and incredible audience that made our world premiere screening such a smash success! After 15+ years making movies this is such an important moment for our team and we could not be more grateful.

Thanks to those attending our Encore screening at 1:30PM today! We would love to hear your thoughts on the film in the comments!

We are taking our time to find the right distribution from our many available opportunities, and are at the very beginning of our festival run, so if you want to see the film and could not make the screenings this weekend it is available online through the festival for a short time at the link in our bio!

Congrats to the entire team, each and every one of you deserve this so much and we’re so integral to bringing @taylormorgandupuis vision come to life.

THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT FOR INDIE FILM!

Have you seen it yet!? taken in Nashville Film Festival by @imawinner_shortfilm

“So much of editing to me is finding the story and investing in it. It’s not just taking the script to screen, what shots we got or didn’t, the bones of what a film is—it’s understanding what visuals best serve that story, what acting moments enhance these characters and make me care about them, and what I can do with a director to make the best version of their vision come to life.

I love the collaboration. I love sitting in my office with someone and going through the minutia that no one else thinks about for hours. I think there’s something so personal and cool about putting a film together with someone step by step. The fact that I have so many talented friends that I get to make shine is a blessing.”

NICE LIFE 🏍️👡🌵 •• Color on another one for MŌRIAH with THAT BOI @diegocacho_ providing lewksss. This woman is a ball of sunshine that leaves our house with Kailey and I in a better mood? How? That joy seeps into everything, including this song she wrote for her stud of a husband @joelsmallbone. She killed this edit and concept, and even learned how to prep an XML turnover this time 🤓 looking forward to the next one buddy, just happy to be in your orbit 🤘🏼

We’re beyond excited to finally share the trailer for our holiday feature film Music City Mistletoe! Filmed right here in Nashville (In just 10 Days 😮) and broadcasting this Christmas season to @upfaithandfamily and streaming. (We'll keep you posted)

@shansmusic wrote the screenplay AND music for the film and we are extraordinarily grateful for her faith in our team to tell this story and the freedom to do it in our own way.

The story is one all artists & dreamers know well. Fighting for a dream through seemingly never ending hardship and doubt. After 10 years of building Stormlight Pictures, this film feels like a celebration of our team, our collaborators, our city, and the incredible people who made it possible.

It premieres tonight at NCG Gallatin with a Q&A and can’t wait to share it with our sponsors, family, and friends! We hope you enjoy it :)
