POSTS STORIES REELS

In a time where it often is all about next, next, next it is important to pause, reflect and appreciate the moments and people around you. And there were a lot of both last week and at this years SERIENCAMP CONFERENCE.

First of all I want to appreciate and thank @maren_heyn_dop for her energy and creativity. It was a fun, exciting, adrenaline-pumped, nerv-wrecking, knee-trembling, hand-shaking ride to pitch “I depress you not” at the Seriencamp Writers Vision Pitch with you.

We as writers want our stories to be seen, heard, read and everything in between - but we are not used to presenting them ourselves on a big stage - or in this case in a cinema packed with collagues, commissioners & producers. Thankfully we had @hhelenareiche, @agatheberman & @irinaignatiew guiding us thru the process, giving us ways to ease our nerves and help us not to forget to trust in our material, our dedication and our passion.

Doing this surrounded by other writers and creatives was such a joy. We were in awe of our collagues who pitched their amazing ideas and shared their passion with us. Having only met twice online and the day before the pitch in real life we became our fiercest cheerleaders, believers and fans. I can not express how inspiring this experience was.

Thank you all for making these days remarkable. Thank you to Seriencamp to create this space and bring like-minded people together. Truely a very special festival.

Wanna hear more about our 8-episode non-depressive series about depression and how we want to tell the story about the effects it has on a whole family system? Come to the @seriencamp_conference next week in Cologne and see us (@katflick and @maren_heyn_dop) pitch at Cinenova 2 - June 10th, 10:15.

What started as a head shot session with the wonderful @barbara.maria.hutter ended up being a fun shoot with this funky sweater I got from my mum just a day earlier. Thank you Barbara! #gowiththeflow #lovetheflow #funwithsweaters #wienmuseum #tryingtobeamodel by @katflick
