Blending beauty with every destination 💄✨ From Hollywood glam to London chic, Monaco luxury, and Parisian elegance. Forever thankful to my Saudi Princess 👑🇸🇦 for making these iconic backdrops a reality and taking me on this journey across the world 🌍✈️ #MakeupArtistOnTheGo #TravelInStyle #beautymeetsworld by @katguevaramua

Before I packed a makeup kit to work around the world, I strapped on a brush belt at the MAC counter inside Belk in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. 🖤 In 2014, I took those brushes to Beverly Hills, and two women helped me make that move.

April Dortch, my MAC manager in Hattiesburg, thank you for encouraging me to go for it, helping me get to California, and cheering me on to this day. And @kawaii_kt my MAC angel, thank you for opening doors for me and taking me under your wing in LA. I’ll always be grateful to both of you. 🥹❤️

Swipe through to see what we did together as MAC makeup artists. We tried new collections on each other, traded tricks at the counter, and recreated looks from reference photos for our artistry certification. We worked fabulous events, painted a whole body together at IMATS, and showed up for AIDS Walk LA with VIVA GLAM. We really got to play with makeup and call it work. 😂

Along the way, coworkers became friends and clients became family. And to the makeup artist practicing on friends in a small town right now, keep picking up your brushes. I had no idea how far mine would take me. 💄✨ @maccosmetics by @katguevaramua

The Pride Lands weren’t ready for this glam! 🦁🔥 Bringing back this Scar look I created a few years ago because this villain deserves another Halloween moment. The smoky eyes, the mane, the claws… I had so much fun with this one! 💅🏽 @lionking @disney

My girl @remy.ungerer was a whole smoke show last night! 🔥 Twelve years of glam together, and we’re still having so much fun with it! Loved creating this Halloween look on her. A bold red lip, smoky eyes, and a little sparkle to bring the heat! Love you, sis! Thank you for trusting me all these years! ❤️

Sending her off to Gala of the Stars with glowing skin and just enough drama. The rest is all her @peytoncriscione ✨

Heard about Palais Garnier’s upcoming renovations and its stage’s five-year beauty break, so I had to pull this out of my archives. This beauty deserves another moment. ✨ #paris #palaisgarnier #travel #travelingmakeupartist by @katguevaramua

One bride. Two hair looks. Kat and me on glam duty. 🤍💍

Come behind the scenes of Autumn’s wedding day—from getting-ready laughs to the veil placement that makes it all feel real. 🥹 Then we switched up the hair because one look wasn’t going to have all the fun. ✨

Autumn, thank you for trusting us with your big day. What a beautiful thing to be part of. 🤍

I used @sebastianpro_official Shaper, Shaper Plus, and Dark Oil Lite to hold, smooth, soften, and shape these looks for all 10 of the girls we styled.

Which look are you saving for your wedding inspo: the romantic updo or the cascading curls? 👀👇🏽

A little behind the scenes, a little glam, and a whole lot of bridal beauty. Autumn, you looked absolutely gorgeous! 🤍

Thank you for trusting me with your wedding glam and being such a sweetheart in my chair. Seeing that smile when it all came together was everything. @autumnorio

You think Halloween makeup is scary? Try a 4 AM call time, a broken palette and LA traffic. Welcome to my MUA Horror Story 💀

What’s your makeup artist nightmare? Send this to the MUA who gets it.

From My Makeup Chair to Around the World

These brushes have taken me around the world, but the travel photos only tell part of the story.

Behind every destination is a packed kit, changing schedules and years of earning my clients’ trust. 15+ years in, I’m still learning and still grateful. Thank you, God, for every door opened. 🤍

What’s something about being a traveling makeup artist you’ve always wanted to know?
