“Mommy issues” was my first solo exhibition @necktar127 from June 14 until July 13 2025

Thanks to everyone who took time to engage with my work about love, care, and transgenerational trauma

Taking care of someone is a big task. Mothers create life and shape life. Family relations can be complicated. These relations influence your understanding of love. This exhibition was dedicated to all mothers who are trying their best and are still failing sometimes, to the suffering and exhaustion. To putting your needs behind for your child and still not feeling guilty for paying attention to them, to building homes, to unlearning and learning, to forgiving yourself and your ancestors for mistaking. To all disappointments, to all the invisible work behind care. To improvement and movement. To holding on. To Love that is not always perfect 💖

I’m so lucky that my daughter had so much fun at my exhibition and that parents brought their children. It makes me feel like I’m doing a good job if I see my child happy. Even if it is challenging sometimes ✨

My work “Nachrichten von Mama” is now available.

Book: 20€
With shipping: 23€

I collected the what’s app messages of my mum over 4 years. My mum lives with a schizophrenic psychosis since I was born. The work gives a lyrical access to her unique world of thinking and experiencing and to her relationship to me.

Thank you, whoever supported me at this very long journey to write this book. It took a lot of emotional energy and a lot of time and thoughts…
Without your support I couldn’t have done that.

If you participated at my crowdfunding and haven’t received a book yet, pls tell me your adress and I’ll send it to you asap! 📨💌

Thanks to @supersilk01 for helping me with the Layout and Cover! Your creative support was very important for this work ♥️ by @katharinagoeppert

High Intensity Workout
2026
10 min

Text: @i_k_o

In her performance of a high- intensity workout,
Katharina combines physical self-optimization
with existential questions. During sit-ups, she asks:
What do we get up for every day?
During mountain climbers: What are our peaks?
What have we achieved? What are we proud of?
These are painful questions, especially in a world that defines success so narrowly.
