Being obedient and using my gift even though I’m not polished yet. This is new for me. God is working in the background, helping me perfect my craft! I’ll get there. For now, I’m just getting the words out. Praise God!!

Thank you @therealranmusi for having me and appreciating my art!!

Lord knows how far I’ve come and the work He started in me will continue as long as I’m breathing. Fortunate to be a Child of God. Praise God for EVERYTHING. He is my King!

Church Fit 🔥 God is so good y’all! If he can work in my life, He can def work in yours! Get you some Jesus! Jesus looks good on me!

Transparency moment: 2 months ago, I slipped up and slept with a woman bc it was either that or drink so I chose that. The reality of it is I needed to feed my flesh bc I was looking to self soothe due to the season I was in. I repented, prayed to God in my quiet place and then I spoke to my Pastors about it bc I felt conviction.

Honestly, I didn’t even enjoy it. I’m saying all this to let you know that being a Christian is a journey. I lived as a lesbian and drank alcohol for 20 plus years, it’s not gonna go away in a blink of an eye. God showed me grace and I should show myself grace also. He forgave me and I’ve forgiven myself. This is what it looks like to be free! If Jesus says you’re free, you’re free indeed!

So no matter what you’ve done or how you’ve lived your life, God can work on you and you can step into the purpose He has for your life! Life is messy but it’s better with God!

This is my 5 attempt in the last 2 years to stop drinking and abstain from anything else, to be completely sober.

Today, I’m celebrating 111 days sober and my 37th birthday is in 2 days. God is soooo good!

Thank you to my church @crossover813 for loving me and showing me what a good church home is supposed to be. Thank you to @cjharrisone for our one on ones. Blessed to have such a great community! by @kathleenrivas_

Let’s have a conversation. God is so good!
Be careful to remember what God has gotten you through and how faithful He is because as humans, we tend to forget the good things. Please read Deut. 6:10, 8:2, Jude 1:24 #jesusislord #god #thegospel #grateful by @kathleenrivas_
