Self-recorded performance by Katie Ferrara ( @katieferraraofficial ), playing her original song “All We Have Is Now” on a Yamaha STORIA acoustic guitar. Katie is an award-winning singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, CA.

The Yamaha STORIA is perfect for an up-and-coming singer-songwriter rehearsing at home or playing in front of an audience. Katie is playing the Yamaha STORIA II – its vibrant, warm tones and beachy color palette of mahogany, abalone and ultramarine make it a fulfilling experience anywhere.

Since Halloween is over, I’m sharing some nostalgia for this time of year. 🍂✨

I’ve been reflecting on my Break Free album, released in 2019, and feeling proud of myself for putting out a full album of original music!

Living in Black and White is still one of my favorite music videos, filmed by my friend @louielucra during Riverside’s Festival of Lights. @ohanthony played my boyfriend, and I’ll never forget him convincing a waiter at the Mission Inn that we were married with five kids on the way. 😂 We even had a near-kiss that I hilariously blocked with a lemon! 🍋

My favorite memories were riding the merry-go-round and taking Polaroids. There’s something so magical about capturing little moments in time. 📸🎠

Here’s to revisiting old memories while making room for new music. ✨

🎃🌙 Happy Halloween! Hope you all get to Moondance tonight! ✨

Here’s a little Van Morrison magic from Downtown Disney! 🎶 I love anything with a jazzy feel, and something about this song always captures the romance and magic of October for me. 🍂💫

Hope you’re eating lots of candy, enjoying the spooky festivities, and dancing under the moonlight! 🍬

Big thanks to Downtown Disney and my lovely Rose Parade band ❤️ I’ve got one more month in LA before heading off on new adventures. November shows go up on my website tomorrow, with some exciting announcements coming soon! ✨

🧙‍♀️✨ Who says all witches are wicked? Some just wear black hats and play music! 🎶🖤

I have a theory that witches get their powers from their hats… and honestly, I think musicians do too! 😂 Something magical happens when I put on my black hat. Suddenly, people take me a little more seriously. Anyone else experience this?

Last night at Downtown Disney, we got to step into our fantasy characters for a night, and the whole band brought the magic! ✨ So much fun playing “Season of the Witch” by @thedonovanofficial with these wonderfully talented humans.

Seeing all the little princesses and witches dancing and getting into the music made it even more special. 👑🎃

Maybe the real magic isn’t in the hat… it’s in the music. 🪄❤️

From singing “Country Roads” with everyone on the cruiseships to getting little kids and families singing along at Downtown Disney, this song just never gets old! 🎶❤️

I love getting to share music with so many different audiences and watching how it brings people together. Plus playing at Disney with my band always makes me feel like a princess! 👑✨

Nothing beats a good old-fashioned sing-along! 🎸💕

Throwback to In the Summertime, a song I released while street performing in Venice Beach! ☀️🎶

As a busker, I love the freedom of bringing music directly to people. Technology has made that freedom even more accessible, with companies like @qscaudio developing portable, battery-powered speakers. This performance was created with just one loop track, 2 chords, and some fun lyrics inspired by my fans. I used my @tcheliconofficial Play Acoustic pedal to layering vocal harmonies for the choruses on top of a simple beat. Sometimes limitations inspire the most creativity!

Looking back, it’s fun to see how my sound has evolved. My current pedalboard brings together nearly ten years of experimenting with different equipment, and I’ve gone from one loop track to six with my @bossfx_us RC 600.

I still believe a great song should stand on its own with just a voice and guitar, but looping has been a wonderful tool for exploring new arrangements and harmonies. More videos with my updated setup coming soon!

🎸 New Live Looping Setup! 🎶

I wanted to share the process of building my own pedalboard and how it’s helped me expand my sound for solo, and duo performances!

After years of looping with just ONE track, I now have SIX with my @bossfx_us RC-600! 🙌

🎛️ Here’s what’s on my board:

🎸 Boss RC-600 – 6-track looper
🎤 @tcheliconofficial Play Acoustic – Vocal effects & harmonies
🎚️ @zoom LiveTrak L-6 – Mixer, multitrack recorder & audio interface
🥁 @rolandglobal SPD::ONE Kick – Percussion
🌊 @ehx Oceans 11 – Reverb
🎸 @donnermusic.us Octave Pedal – Bass effects
🔊 @jimdunlopusa Mini Volume Pedal – Volume control
🎛️ CNZ EQ Pedal – Tone shaping/Guitar volume boost
💥 @cioks_power_supplies_official - DC7 Power Supply

Everything fits on my @rockboardbywarwick Quad 4.2, which has made cable management SO much easier! No more cables everywhere! 🙌

Not sponsored by RockBoard—I just really love their design!

🔧 I built this board myself, and it’s been such a fun learning experience! I’m definitely no expert, but I wanted to share what I’ve learned with anyone curious about getting into pedals or expanding their live setup.

💬 Have questions? Ask away! Have advice for me? Send me a DM! I’m still learning, and this is simply what works for me.

❤️ Save this for inspiration and share it with a musician friend! Thanks for watching 🤘

☀️ Here Comes the Sun – @thebeatles 🎶

I’ve been trying to master this iconic guitar riff for years, and I can finally play it! 🎸✨

I’m especially excited to perform this song at a beautiful wedding ceremony in Santa Barbara on October 16th! 💛

I’ve always thought this was the perfect song for so many occasions—intimate gatherings, golden hour, or sipping wine at a restaurant as the sun goes down. 🍷🌅

Here’s my stripped-back acoustic version, recorded with my @audigolabs . Sometimes all you need is a guitar and a great song. 🎶

Hope you enjoy! More acoustic covers coming soon! 🎶
