Film vending machine fun in Seoul! 🎞️

Despite the renewed interest in analogue photography, getting your hands on a roll of film isn't always the easiest thing. But not in South Korea, it seems! I loved discovering film vending machines in the cities we visited 📷

I can't tell you just how happy it made me to pick up a box of my favourite Kodak Gold 200 on the go. An analogue photographer's dream! 🙌🏻

Have you come across film vending machines in Europe, or anywhere else in the world? I'd love to know ❤️

I took myself on a solo date in Seoul, in search of something sweet! 🍰 (Travelling with my young family is the best, but sometimes a Mum just needs a moment to indulge without being asked to share 🤣).

Tucked away from the busy tourist streets of Bukchon Hanok Village, I found sooheonjae, a traditional teahouse serving the most delicious matcha and red bean bingsu - a Korean dessert of finely shaved ice topped with sweet red beans. Perfect for the sweltering summer days we encountered! 🍨

I love discovering the traditions of afternoon tea in different corners of the world (definitely a dessert girl here!), and this little stop turned out to be one of my loveliest memories from my time in South Korea 🍵

An Essex summer wouldn’t be the same without a visit to Writtle Sunflowers, wandering through the fields and picking bunches of beautiful blooms 🌻

Happy Floral Friday, everyone 💛

A solo summer afternoon spent exploring this stunning house and art gallery in one, where Jim and Helen Ede collected works of art and lived amongst them in the most beautiful surroundings ❤️

Well hello, it’s been a hot minute! Quite literally here in Europe 😅☀️ September is in full swing, and it’s back to work, school and sharing some lovely snippets of life again! 📷

I’ve been building up quite the treasure trove of films all summer, and the scans have finally started arriving in my inbox. As any film photographer will be able to relate, it’s basically Christmas time already! 🎞️

Starting, of course, with a favourite: a Floral Friday post 🌸

A trip to Bury Lane Farm Shop for PYO (pick-your-own) flowers is always a highlight of our return to England during the British summertime (and oh, was it a glorious one this year). Rows and rows of snapdragons, delphiniums, dahlias and marigolds in every shade of the rainbow, ready to be gathered into the arms of two very happy sisters 🌈💐 (always love our reunions here, @kitandnancy).

A little bit of summer, forever on film 🩷

Wishing you all a beautiful weekend ahead 😘
