My Addie kitten. It’s been two days and I still can’t believe she is gone. She’d been diagnosed with lymphoma and it took over her quickly.
She was my everything.
I keep expecting her to greet me when I come home, to sing me her operas at 2 and 5am, to not allow any door in the house to be closed. She was my best friend, my confidant. She knew all of my secrets, all of my achievements, all of my failures. She moved across the country with me, into every tiny apartment, every sublet, even a few days in a car. My little weirdo loved belly rubs, feet, tennis balls and screaming.
She got me through my 20s, most of all through the last two years. I wouldn’t be here without her. She waited until I was finally stable, ready to set off on our next adventure, and then said one final “nooooooope”. lol bitch.
We got to spend her last five days playing, cuddling, crying, lots of belly rubs, and showering her with all the love and treats she want. She was a fat, happy cat until her last day and for that, I am truly grateful.
Addie I love you with every fiber of my being and I will miss you everyday until we meet again. I promise not waste this life you have given me. 💙💚 #addiekitten #fattyaddie by @katiereuling

Oh hey, it's me. Just a solid 2021 wrap up while channeling my inner Kevin Malone.

On my way to showcase my PERFECTED hot apple cider after tinkering with it for five solid hours.

Now no one gets to get to know each other in the pot.

Because I miss waking up like this 😭 as much as I love the sound of Addie screaming at the colossal pigeons in the window at 6am. #theymightberats #babytitus #oldiegoldies by @katiereuling

Tweedle-Me and Tweedle-Dickhead are heading back to apocalypse central in t-minus two weeks. She will be equipped with a Darryl Crossbow and leather vest and you'll find me brooding somewhere with a bottle of High West Double Rye and some great company for sure.
