I am so honoured to be the Winner of the Women Entrepreneur of the Year Award with @thelivingluxedesignshow

I just completed an amazing wallpaper installation in Palm Beach, and we have several exciting projects coming up in Toronto, Los Angeles, Boston and HAWAII 😊

I can’t believe I am going to Hawaii for an upcoming installation with @degournay and @phillipjeffriesltd - This will be an amazing project and experience.

Thank you so much to all the amazingly talented Interior Designers I work with, and who have supported me throughout my journey. I am so excited to work with you on all your upcoming projects, and am always excited to see the amazing wallpapers you have selected for your designs.

I would also like to extend my gratitude to the esteemed judges, @nadia_libertygroup @realgeorgesully @lorimorrisdesign Gianpiero Pugliese of @audax.ca and @marthafrancoarchitecture

My Acceptance Speech:

I’m truly honoured to stand before you tonight and accept the Women Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

This journey began with a spark — when I discovered wallpaper during a trip to Wynn Las Vegas in 2008, and how wallpaper can transform a space like no other.

From that first inspiration, it grew into a craft, a calling — and I am so proud to work with so many amazingly talent interior designers, helping bring their vision come to life.

Tomorrow, I leave for Palm Beach, Florida, chasing the next chapter of this endless story.

Because in truth, the journey never ends — it is forever unfolding, forever just beginning.

To every woman who dares to dream: know this — I am often the only woman trade on site, but I stand proudly, shoulder to shoulder with the best, as one of the top wallpaper installers in North America.

There is no limit to what you can create. No ceiling to what you can build. Chase your passion. Build your vision. Believe in your power.

Thank you so much to my husband, my mom, and my amazing team. I could not have done this without you.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for this incredible honour.

Amazing Gold de Gournay. Installed this stunning 22 Carat Gold Leaf ‘Namban’ wallpaper by @degournay for an amazing project in Los Angeles, California.

I love installing de Gournay, and we also installed the Gold Leaf wallpaper on the Ceiling, which looks beautiful in this space.

I am so honoured to travel throughout the US and Canada with my team, installing beautiful wallcoverings from Coast to Coast.

Katie’s Wallpaper Installation is trusted by the Top Interior Designers, and with our divisions in Los Angeles, Vancouver, Boston, Toronto, Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Miami, and we also travel throughout the US/Canada.

We have an amazing team, with 10 Senior Installers, including myself, and our de Gournay Specialist, Stefan.

Fun Fact: The trimming blades we use are specially imported directly from Higashi-nakamoto, Osaka, Japan, to ensure the highest quality, and are not available anywhere in North America.

For this installation, we used the @romanproducts 234, the best adhesive on the market, and with de Gournay, I only trust the best adhesive, ROMAN.

I’m professional wallpaper installer Katie Hunt, and my company is Katie’s Wallpaper Installation.

I absolutely love how wallpaper can transform a space like no other. I started to wallpaper my house 18 years ago, I ran out of spaces to wallpaper, so I decided to wallpaper other people’s homes.

I started a website, and clients and designers started calling, and then this led to HGTV with my friends Drew and Jonathan on The Property Brothers, and Mike Holmes on Holmes on Homes.

I absolutely love wallpaper, if you do too, come follow me at @katieswallpaper on Instagram.
