I'm painting this piece for a dear friend to celebrate her batch, a little snapshot of friendship, sunshine, and the simple joy of standing side by side in the water.
Two hats, two colours, two women who’ve walked a lot of life together and still choose to show up for each other.

There’s something so peaceful about this moment no rush, no noise, just connection and the soft shimmer of the day around them.

Honoured to create this for her.
Here’s to friendship, milestones, and the memories we carry forward. by @katrinalooneyart

This one came from a messy week, and a call for art .
She didn’t come from some grand cosmic idea. She came from a moment where I felt pulled in too many directions. Past things, future things, all the little thoughts that sit in your chest and don’t quite settle.

The small moons are the things I’ve carried for too long.
The bigger moons are the parts of me I’m trying to grow into.
The bright streak of hair wasn’t planned. It just sort of happened, it felt right so it stayed there . A reminder that I’m still changing.
Her eyes are closed because sometimes you don’t need to look forward or back. You just need a second to breathe.
This piece is part of a new series I’m exploring. She’s not finished yet. Maybe I’m not finished yet either.
This painting is me trying to let go of what’s heavy and hold onto what’s real. by @katrinalooneyart

Loose, textured, and a little wild. These creatures demanded their moment.
Tomorrow the moons rise. by @katrinalooneyart

Hope rising from the deep, light finding its way through water and stars.
This painting came from a quiet place in me, that moment when you start to feel your strength returning after being underwater for a while.
It’s about remembering who you are, even when everything feels heavy.😊 by @katrinalooneyart

Strength grows quietly before it grows visibly.
This painting is a reminder that you’re becoming someone stronger. by @katrinalooneyart

A little look at how this piece came together, from the early layers to the final image. 🥰 by @katrinalooneyart

This painting has such a special place in my heart.
A lion full of fire and softness, strength and stillness, and that tiny red ladybug that kept insisting on being part of the story.

I loved exploring the contrast between the warm, glowing mane and the cool, dreamlike blues behind him. He feels like a guardian spirit to me, powerful, watchful, and just a little bit enchanted.

It’s amazing how a painting can shift and evolve until suddenly it clicks into place. This one arrived with a quiet kind of certainty.

Thanks for being here and sharing this journey with me.
Let me know what you feel when you look at him. by @katrinalooneyart

Colour as a feeling, not a plan.
This piece came out of a week where everything felt loud, inside and out.
I knew I needed movement and texture, so this is the final piece. Its called Echoes of the Wetland. by @katrinalooneyart

The painting that made me doubt, can I even paint.😮 by @katrinalooneyart

Sharing a peek at the early layers of my next artwork. The colours and light are starting to come alive. by @katrinalooneyart

These two turtles have been keeping me busy for a bit.
Swipe through for some mockups and close ups, the colours show up so nicely.
Such a peaceful piece to work on. 😍 by @katrinalooneyart

This was meant to be a one‑week assignment..
but life threw a curveball and I had to help a friend through some family stuff.
So the bears got an extra few days, and honestly, they used that time to multiply.
Now they’ve taken over the wall, the studio, and possibly my sanity.
Send help. Or snacks.😂 by @katrinalooneyart
