Luke 18:16 says, “Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” While on this mission trip I learned that the kingdom of heaven does truly belong to the little children, and I was blessed to be able to go to Thailand to share the love of Jesus to His children. But not only did I get to share His love but they shared their love with me too and I was able to learn so much from them as well. I learned to just laugh with joy constantly, to behold the beauty of not only the Lord but of His creation as well, and to just have fun and have a child-like faith. The kingdom belongs to each one of these precious children I got to meet, and I know one day I can’t wait to see them all in heaven. by @katwilson1213

I think one of the best ways we can see more of the Lord is by looking at the people around us. This last month and a half in South Africa God gave me a really good look at the beauty of his people. I saw the beauty in the lasting friendships that were made, the laughter with others, the early morning jogs and the late night kitchen talks.
I learned God isn’t just in one spot, He’s everywhere and His kingdom is always at hand. I learned never to allow your fears to be bigger than your faith. I learned that it’s when we are uncomfortable that the Lord works in you the most. Lastly, I learned that the family of God is the best family and i’m beyond grateful to have met more of that family. by @katwilson1213

This mission trip to Greece taught me the importance of seeing people how Jesus sees them. We aren’t called as Christian’s to hide behind the shadows of the world and keep our faith to ourselves. We are called to be bold and share the Gospel to everyone around us and bring light to the darkest of places.

As we were split into three teams across Greece, my team went to Crete and the 15 of us got to serve at a church and evangelize in the city. We got to experience God through every prayer, worship song sang, conversation, testimony, cup of coffee, devotional, and time together. In a place such as Greece where only 20,000 out of 10 million people follow Jesus, the work that these ministries are doing can be hard but it was inspiring to see the deep work they are continuing to do in the city around them.

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” Praying that the seeds that have been planted will continue to grow in the hearts of the people reached in Jesus name and there is deep work being done all across Greece even when it’s hard to see. by @katwilson1213

“He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.”
