A little love note to the last ten years and everyone I've had the privilege of working with! 🌞 by @kayleimcgaw

Chasing the Autumn Light.

In our Skyline Sophistication project, a pair of sculptural lounge chairs creates an intimate seating area overlooking Boston. Floor to ceiling drapery softens the architecture, while a custom Foundations rug by @trevorfulmercollections introduces an organic pattern that contrasts with the room’s clean lines. A palette of soft blues, warm neutrals, and subtle metallic finishes brings the composition together.

The details behind the design:

Rug | Foundations Collection by Landry & Arcari in collaboration with Trevor Fulmer
Drapery | Designer Draperies of Boston
Bedding | Frette
Lounge Chairs | Thayer Coggin

Styling | @kayleimcgaw @anchorartists

If shoulder season were a room.

Warm woods, chalky whites, earthy browns and layers of texture. That not-quite-summer, not-quite-fall feeling somehow captures the warm serenity we were after in this Balinese-modern primary suite.

Back to work or stay in bed, who’s torn?!

We’re up and at it. After a fabulous Labor Day weekend, we’re already deep into our to-do list. 📋

I hope by now that you've seen this gorgeous home circulating on the socials and published in @southernlivingmag, however, I have to share my two cents about Ten Mile, TN! @douglasgranetodesign and Wear Culvahouse, it is always a privilege to collaborate with you two, but getting to visit this special place and stay with your family was an unmatchable experience. Three days getting to know you and your family, who are the kindest and one-of-a-kind, with a history and heart rooted in this place that informed the redesign of the home in such a special way. I could praise your design but the photos (by @janebeilesphoto ) speak for themselves! The epitomy of southern hospitality. Song by Johnny Cash, because Jane and i kept playing him on the jukebox between throwing darts (and talking trash), and enjoying cold beers and homemade pimento cheese. Thank you for inviting me to be a part of this project I'll never forget! 💚 by @kayleimcgaw

icydk...when I'm styling a home and start leaving clusters of items about, I refer to them (lovingly) as my squirrel piles💘🐿️ by @kayleimcgaw
