Sometimes the smallest details leave the deepest impact. For student-athletes, sport provides a unique platform to bring people together and spread good. But the real magic happens in the simple, human connections; like greeting someone by name and showing a rare disease family that they are truly seen, remembered, and valued.

Taking time out of a busy athletic schedule to build these bonds means more than words can express. It reminds us all that when we leverage the power of sport for a greater purpose, we are making a difference in the lives of families navigating rare diagnoses.
