For Ravel’s 150th anniversary this year, @kebyart explores his legacy—despite having never composed for saxophone quartet. The album features transcriptions of ‘Le Tombeau de Couperin’ and ‘Pavane pour une infante défunte’, alongside Rameau arrangements and new works by Mikel Urquiza and Joan Pérez-Villegas. Through these pieces, @kebyart unveils Ravel’s elegance, innovation, and timeless influence.

Pre-order the album (out April 25th) and listen to the single, ‘Le Tombeau de Couperin: I. Prélude’, today on the composer’s 150th birthday at the link in our bio ↖ by @kebyart

We were as well amazed 🥹 Come next February 5th to Hamburg or later to Cuxhaven, Sevilla or Barcelona to listen to this amazing music! 😍

Still remembering our debut at @filarmonica_bilbao ✨ by @kebyart

🔴 SPECIAL DEBUT: Today is a wonderful day for the quartet as we are making our debut at the Bilbao Philharmonic Society.
Ever since we started out, we have dreamt of this debut, given the historic significance of this series and the number of artists we admire who have shared their art at the Society.
What’s more, since 1976 (50 years ago), there hasn’t been a saxophone quartet in this prestigious programme, so you can imagine how excited we’ve been as we’ve prepared for today’s concert.
We’re counting down the hours until we take to the stage!
-

🔜 Looking forward to play this Suite in Bilbao next 27th and many more repertoire for a similar or familiar instrument 🤔

We’re on stage tonight! by @kebyart

A LITTLE GAME 😏!! Before traveling to Izmir 🇹🇷, we want to play a little game with Fazil Say’ Preludes for saxophone quartet & string orchestra.

❗️ NEED HELP?
1. And a like? 😚
2. We all move a lot, so this is not helping 🤣
3. Focus on the 16th notes. Are they high, are they low?
4. They are NOT on the extreme voices.
5. Don’t look the comments section, but if you do, give a like to the answer. He/she will appreciate that! 😏 by @kebyart
